I have been on Lexipro for about 3years since I wnt thru menopause. That is what they thought i needed. I would like to wean myslf off this meicaton as I realy dont feel  need it. I am going to my primary for pills to help me with my wieight loss which has shot from 140 to 177. I feel lousy. I am hearing horror stories about these meds . How can I safely wean myself off the elexapro, I of course will ask my primary Dr.. Ive been told take one every other day then two days and do it that way until you are down to about every 3 days.. I have been eating correctly as my Dr has a list of things to eat for me andI do go for my 2 week check up on this Monday to see if the diet med has worked at all. Thanks Joan.   ***@****
