any doctor in the KCMO area that gives the B12 shot

Hello out there. I am curious about the B12 shot as to how
long it stays in your system and keeps your energy level up.
I just started taking the shot today (in my hip) as a part of
my weight loss program to help give me energy. But I will only
receive the shot once a week. I can go for additonal shots but
I was thinking about taking the b12 pill (sublingual) in between.
