counting calories w/o a label

i am on a low calorie diet and was just wondering how you count calories on those items that dont have a label?  what about when you are not home...at someone elses home, out to eat, etc.?
also what about your fresh fruit and veggies?  like how many calories to a bannana, apple, grapefruit,plum,, green beans?

What you need is a book on foods and their calories.  I have seen them as small as pocket sized.  Do a search on the internet, and you might find one there.

There is a great website called calorie count, check that out.  They even have several resturants and fast food places on there.

GRAPEFRUIT! This is the key to weight loss..because it burns fat. Drink grapefruit juice daily ( not pink grapefruit with all that sugar but the yellow all natural kind) and tons of water. As far as calories...I have NEVER counted them. Just eat right, drink water & exercise 9just 20 minutes a day of cardio!!). Eat fish, vegetables, fruit & chicken...the weight will control itself.

P.S. the best pocket size calorie/fat content book...that I have is from the American Heart Association. Go online and request one at no charge. I received one at a Go Red for Women campaign luncheon. It is fabulous...
