You might not find what you're looking for on this particular forum. Everyone here wants to LOSE the weight...then again, actually,  you might be on the RIGHT forum. We all know how to gain it! LOL. But it's not a healthy way. I know I gained all my weight by eating out all the time, eating fried foods, and not working out.

it sounds like you need to keep talking to somebody, even if its not a counselor or professional, please go to a family member or friend that you trust and tell them that its still hard for you and you still have these thoughts. Its very hard to "do it all on your own." Just don't think of food as your enemy. Keep eating a variety of healthy foods. Check websites or diet books or something to find out what portion sizes you should be having for your weight, frame size, goal weight, etc. and stick to that. Maybe working out with weights as you go would help you put on muscle tone and feel healthier too. Best of luck to you. Come back and chat any time - We are always here!

To: Recovering Anorexic trying to maintain control
I a have been anorexic for 20 years. I wan't to stay at a healthy to low weight, and hcg seems like a good way to do it.  I've done alot of research (man have I done research)  And hCG seems to work with the hyphothalamus which is ultimately the control center of your brain.  I was hoping this would help me to regulate my body back to normal. Like whatever that is. I have been hospitalized 12 times and hemorraged my esphogus 5.  I am a ward of the state and have to go in everyweek to be weighed.  It sucks.. I lost a family, a house, a car, and everything else I have. for WHAT?  I just wan't to be okay again. and have fun and I wonder if this was the answer because 20 years of therapy, state hospital, and a trip to the Center for Change has not helped.
