hCG affect Prego test?

Does anyone know if hCG will affect the results of a pregnancy test? Like if you are on the hCG weight loss protocol, could this affect your results when taking a pregnancy test? Please send me a personal note, Thanks!

I have heard that you should go of the hCG injections for a week before taking/retaking a pregnancy test. The test looks for your hCG levels and if you are doing the injections, it will cause a higher level to show up causing a false positive.

To: hCG and pregnancy

I am currently using HcG for weight control and want to start clomid for ovulatation. Will HCG affect clomid and can I still ovulate with clomid while injecting hcG daily?
