I would like to start the hcg shots soon.  I live in NJ and I can't find a clinic in this state.  There are a couple of questions I have.
1. On what website can I buy the hcg from?  
2.  Are most people following a 500 or 800 vlcd?
3.  Are dieters washing their hair?  Please answer "yes".
4.  What are some of the menu options?  
I've read the Simeon's manuscript already.  I feel that I keep reading the same info over and over again on several different websites without learning anything new. I'm looking to start in a few weeks.

I have completed phase 3 of the protocol. I started at 150 pounds and I now weigh 107 pounds at 5'3. I got my hcg from GHI Medical. I had to have a physical from my own doctor who had to sign some paper work from GHI and I had to have a blood test as specified from GHI Medical. I followed the 500 calorie diet religiously. I had plenty of energy to exercise which I did 5 - 6 aerobic work outs and 3 weight training work outs.  I am a personal trainer and I was having an extremely frustrating time loosing weight after the birth of my 3rd child. Yes, I washed my hair and conditioned it. I don't wear alot of make-up anyway so the only thing I changed was that I used a powder sunscreen and Bare Minerals powder concealer. I did wear mascara and removed it with oil free make-up remover. As far as menu options, I ate flattened broiled organic chicken seasoned w/lemon and spices with one of the listed veggies. I ate the organic apple as a snack and for dinner I ate one of the listed fish, broiled that same way as the chicken. I drank all of the teas with stevia, hot and cold, except for the oolong tea which I just wasn't cray about. In the first week I lost almost 10 pounds and then settled into a 1/2 pound to a full pound a day after that. I kept a log of everything I did and ate and also how I felt. I use to have sugar cravings but now I don't. I hope this helps you.  I have a friend that will be starting her shots on 8/10. She's about 60 pounds overweight. Thank you for sharing your experience.  I'm a 36 year old man who was already overweight when I quit smoking and gained another 60 pounds.  I'm now 110 pounds overweight frankly afraid for my life.  I wrangled some HCG out of an overseas pharmacy supply, my shipment was seized by the FDA once coming thru customs but I finally got it.  I have needles and I'm just waiting for the sterile water to mix the drug before I start.  The only insurance I have is thru the Veteran's Administration so I can't choose a doctor who'll cooperate with my plans to try this regimen.  I'd like to know if you had any hunger.  I know that I have an almost constant gnawing hunger now.  It will be nice to be free of that.  I'm very pleased and heartened by your success.  Please tell me how your friend's experience goes.  I have heard lots of people talk about how much they've lost but its usually less than 30 pounds.  You are the biggest "loser" if you'll pardon the pun I have seen thus far in these forums.  I hope to be a bigger loser than you soon.

The hcg came from GHI Medical, which is an internet based hormone replacement therapy group. As I explained earlier I had to have a blood test before they would prescribe the hcg.  They send you the papers you need and will tell you where the closest lab is, for me it was a place called Lab Corp.  I gave them the papers and they drew the blood and sent the results to GHI Medical. A doctor looks over ther results, calls you and explains the procedure and then asks you if you have any questions.  After that everything you need to begin is sent to you 2nd day air, hcg, bac water, and syringes.  They send pictures and directions on how to prepare the hcg solution which must be stored in the fridge. They send a 45 day supply however mine didn't last 45 days, I only had enough for 40 days. As far as hunger went, I was only slightly hungryfor the first 2-3 days, but after that I wasn't hungry again. I did use the 2 apples a day between meals as my snack. I drank alot of water, I live in Texas and it is really hot here so I am use to drinking lots of water. I worked out hard. It took my mind off the diet. What really impressed me about his protocol is the way my body was being reshaped.  My waist got very small, mu stomach very flat. I have nicely defined arms and legs. It is really exciting to weigh yourself every morning and see weight loss success. It is so motivating. I highly recommend working out while on this protocol. I am following the KT plan straight from his zillion dollar making website.

I want to make this as scientific as possible to communicate to people with measurements, exact foods, diary, etc.
I plan on following this to the exact letter...............if at all possible.
I would like to have a website with all of my trials and tribulations documented.
Do you know if anyone has done this?........................  I have 75 pounds to loose.

I don't know of anyone who is keeping records of this nut I have mine and my friend is startting her shots on 8/10.  I got my hcg from GHI medical and she got hers from Natural HCG. She has an office job, single, 37 years old, no kids. I am 45, work at my own schedule as a PT married with 3 kids.  It will be interesting to compare results considering our ifferent lifestyles and getting our hcg from different sources.

Did the program you are following suggest eating to capacity during the first 3 injection days and then cutting to 500 calories as the Dr. Simeons plan? I'm wondering how important this is to the final out come. I to am in the gym 6 days a week with weight training, cardio and cycling. My objective is to maintain muscle and shed the problem fat areas.

lyndamc, I agree that comparison would be interesting.  I will let you know as soon as I start.  I am waiting for sterile water to mix my HCG.  It seems that unless you get HCG specifically for weight loss they only give you enough solvent for one injection.  I will go through the injection phase again since I need to lose about 110 pounds and I think I'll go through a clinic that time to avoid the hassle.  I could have been done with my injection phase by now if I'd done that.  

wfinspector, I'll be following the Simeons protocol so yes, gorging for three days then dropping to 500 calories.  The Trudeau approach says two days.  I suppose it depends on how much you've been dieting and undernourishing yourself prior to going on the vlcd as it is designed to flood your system with nutrients to give the HCG a chance to kinda take hold.  Also, READ THE BOOK Pounds and Inches by Dr Simeons if you haven't already.  You see, in case you didn't know, it's not just a 500 calorie a day diet, it's a very specific 500 calories a day.  There may be some doctors at certain clinics who have tweaked the program a bit and had success, but they are doctors and know what the heck they are doing.  I'm not a doc, I can't tweak the program like a doc can so I'll be following the Simeons protocol to the letter.

I only gorged for 2 days as specified in the KT book. I did not loose any muscle mass in fact I gained a little bit.  Once that outer layer of aft is gone you can see the definition that's underneath. All the moms in my children's schools keep asking me what did I do. I'm thin but muscular and healthy looking.  I haven't told them about this yet.  I want to see how my friend does on this protocol because she is absolutely not a work-out person.  I want to see how this reshapes her body.  She has always had excess fat on her hips, even when she weighed 105, she had big hips for her frame.  Looking at her I would say that her abnormal fat stores are definitely in her hips. If she does as well as I did and looses those inches on her hips, I am going to tell everyone about this protocol. Let's keep each other posted!

SRO, I to will be following the Simeons protocol. I have it printed out and will follow to the letter. The eating to capacity was noted to delay the weight loss by a week or so in the documentation. I'll have to force myself to "put on the feed bag" in the begining. The possibility of rapid weight gain if you stray from the protcol while taking the injections is enough to keep me on track. So I will be at 500 or less a day.   Keep me posted . My HCG has been shipped. Waiting to begin. Maybe in a week......

lyndamc, please keep us posted on your friend. I to do not intend to say anything to the people in the gym. I want to see if they will notice anything. I'm currently at 212. My ideal weight is around a max of 179. But, my bf% is well under 20%. In act it is around 15. But the problem areas are still there. No matter what I do the problem areas remain.  I'll be running the 23 day plan. I hope this will get me where I need to be.

which online pharm did you use?  I am eager to get this going.  I read the manuscript/protocol...and I have to tell you..when he was describing the truely obese person...it was frightening just how much I identify with nearly EVERYTHING he was describing.  I tried going through GMI Medical but they wouldnt accept the outrageous amount of blood work I had done when I recently had surgery.  Everything was there..and I can't afford to pay for all of it out of pocket through them anyway.  If I need a prescription, my Dr is willing to write one, but I can't afford US prices.

I went through drugdelivery.  It's a pharmacy escrow service.  The HCG itself came from Mumbai, India.  The HCG is a freeze dried pellet in a rubber stopped glass vial but they sent it with only a one ml vial of saline which is not even close to enough solvent.  So you'll have to get ahold of the needles.  I got mine at atlantic med supply.  I bought the 3cc syringes with 21 gauge 1 inch long needles.  And I bought sterile water (25 10 ml vials) for my solvent from medical mail order.  I bought from three different sources because of a combination of ignorance at what I was NOT getting with my HCG order and the fact that I'm cheap.  I wound up paying about $125 all together for everything I need to inject the drugs.  I plan on economizing the process the next time I take the treatment.

I'm using the same supplier for the HCG. Found them to be very reliable and reasonably priced. The other supplies I got were in kit form specifically designed for the size and number of amples that I purchased. The kits were either for 23 or 43 days and were based on either 1500 or 5000 iu amples. Everything you need is in the kit.

My friend started her shots Friday and is doing her gorge, which she hates but is following the protocol.  She has gained 2 pounds and is freaking out but I told her to be patient because she is going to be happy that she did the gorge when she goes on the restricted diet. I followed the protocol in KT's book and began my diet on the third day but Dr. Simmeon's protocol says to gorge for 3 days and then begin the diet. I don't know why there is a day difference in the protocols.  Also I noticed that DR. Simmeon says to eat white fish but in KT's book he is specific about the white fish being halibut, Chilean sea bass, flounder or sole. Is anyone following just Dr. Simmeon's protocol and if so are you eating other white fish like orange roughy or tilapia? We are going to Whole Foods together to get her stocked up for the week.  Hope everyone's doing well!

I am sticking with flounder on the Simeons plan. Think the objective is to avoid oily fish. Tuna etc. What is your friends calorie intake during the gorge? Any idea? And did either of you do a body composition prior to the start to determine your actual %BF? I've read that if you were 20% or less that this method is not quite as effective..

We did not both counting calories on the gorge phase. Both of us only did it for 2 days as stated in KT's book as oppose to Dr. Simmeons 3 day gorge. I have a scale that give %BF, which is usually a ballpark figure. We were both between 32% - 36%. As far as the fish, I ate flounder, chilean sea bass, orange roughy and halibut - all wild caught - no farm raised and organic chicken with all fat removed.

Started the shots yesterday.  I'm on my second day of gorging and I'm finding it difficult to do.  Maybe it's psychological but I'm already noticing a reduction in appetite.  As for the questions about the fish.  White Fish is not a specific species, it's a general description.  sea bass, grouper, halibut, cod, walleye, perch... Any fish with white flesh is a white fish.  Mackerel, tuna, salmon etc all have pink or red meat which is higher in fat.

My friend has has completed her 6th day of shots and has lost 7.5 pounds!  She is so excited.  She is embracing work-outs, which she use to hate. I train her 3 times per week with weights and she does 5 - 30 min. cardio a week. We are going to measure her after she has completed 10 days.  Her big problem area was her hips but I can already see a big difference. Hope everyone is doing well!!

I was very pleased with the inches I lost. I started with a 33" waist, and 42" hips 5'3 and 150 pounds. After phase 3 of the protocol I weighed 107 pounds, 23" waist and 35" hips.

I've read Dr. Simeon's Manuscript and KT's book . . . did a few weeks of cleaning and organic eating and got my shots from Native Healing Ways this morning and begin my 1st shot tomorrow. . . . a little freaked out about giving my self shots but I'll get over it . . .  wondering if anyone else has used Native Healing Ways for their HCG and if so  . .  how are you doing?? . . . I have not read the KT book but I would think the cleaning phase should be completed before you eat to capacity. The Simeons method on eating to capacity is any and everthing. The more fat the better. Cheese,pastries etc......No cleaning on Simeons method so I assume you are following the KT protocol.

I'm not sure about doing the various cleanses during the injection period. In Dr. Simmeons manuscript he barely allows aspirin because of the delicate chemical balance that is occurring in the body with the hcg. My friend had a weight loss slow down and was very freaked. Apparently, she used some concealer for a biz. meeting for 2 days and during those 2 days she only lost 1/4 a pound. She quit using the concealer and is now back to the 1 pound average. I told her to use Bare Minerals concealer because it's a powder - not as good as regular concealers but what's more important - looking alittle tired or loosing a pound of fat you've been struggling with for years!

well i just sent in all my paperwork to ghi medical and i'm too excited to wait!!!  they're telling me there is a 3-4 week wait period for the hcg because of a national demand.  i just wondered how long it took for your products to arrive? i was considering ordering from the european market but am a little afraid of the quality control. i have about 60 lbs to lose and i am anxious to get started as quickly as possible!  you said your products were about 5 days short of the 45 day supply?  do you think that you injected too much each time or was there really just not enough?  i too am worried about the topical products women are used to using like body lotions etc.  i guess the change for a short period of time won't hurt anyone right?  anyway, i am so glad i found this forum because i was/am a little nervous.  i had my physical at my family doctor and they had never heard of this hcg therapy so couldn't give me any advice either way.  happy to find others that are not only trying it but thriving and succeeding on this path!!!

European Branches of HCG maufacturers have the same quality as in the US. Much cheaper. Around 14 days turn around  for me from UK. Don't know why everyone is running short on the injections. We are all using bacteriostatic water to mix with and not the solvent that is supplied aren't we??????? The solvent is suppose to be discarded.....

bacteriostsatic water is just a sealed vial of sterile water. Solvent is ok but not enough for a lot of small doses. The solvent is only used when large doses are giving for fertility treatments etc.

I'm not sure we got our HCG from the same supplier, wfinspector.  Who was your supplier and what was the cost and what was the quantity.  I ordered 10,000 IU from drugdelivery.ca the price was $57.99 for one ampule and it was shipped from Mumbai India.  I'd like to know if you got off cheaper as I'll be needing to do a second and third course of HCG treatment and possibly a fourth.  I'd also like to know if anyone is using subcutaneous injections with success rather than intramuscular.  SC injections can be given with an insulin needle, it is less painful and the needles are cheaper so I'd rather do that than IM injections.  Those little buggers kinda hurt.

I'm on day two of the vlcd and I've lost about 4 pounds so far.  It was getting bad, I was up to 334 before going down to the 500 calorie diet.  I must have gained 10 pounds in the gorging phase!  Hunger is kinda strong after the first meal of the day.  It lasts about an hour and then the rest of the day is pretty much smooth sailing.  Plenty of energy, but I feel a bit shaky.  Not uncomfortably so, but there it is nonetheless.  Also, I had a really hard time sleeping last night.  Not due to hunger, just feeling jittery and over caffeinated even though I stopped drinking coffee and tea after mid day.

I did get mine from GHI and everything you need comes with your order, hcg, needles, bac water, so you don't need to purchase anything else. I know there are less expensive places to order hcg but I wanted the security of being able to call someone if I have a problem. I did do my shots sub-q and not IM. The dosage subQ is a bit different according to GHI but it totally worked. Yes I did have to wait but not 3 weeks. I was about 5 days short of the 45 day supply. I guess that was just human error on my part. While you are waiting for your hcg I would look at doing some of the detox regiments that KT outlunes in his book.  I use to be a big sugar junkie and did the candida cleanse.  I'm not sure how much it helped but I was prepared for terrible sweet cravings when I started the injections but they never happend. Good Luck and let us know when you start. Get a journal and keep track of your weight loss as well as your inches,  I was amazed more with the inches than anything else.

i am a big sugar junkie too.  i'm ordering the threelac candida program.  that should be completed before i start the program since i have such a long time to wait before i'll be able to start the injections.  i do use a daily colon cleanse already and i think that's helped.  so ghi was good about showing you how to mix all the stuff etc?  i've been worried about that.  one webpage i found was talking about being careful when you break open the vials that you don't get glass into the vial.........YIKES!!!  i will keep you posted and i have to say i'm so happy to have found this forum!  it's really been encouraging.

no problem with customs. this company protects you against a siezure by customs. they will track this package. when i was notified of ship date it took 7 days for me to get it. it will be registered mail and you will have to sign for it. they will know when you get it or if it has been siezed.

Finding time to work-out with very young children is tough.  I think that working out on a stability ball is one of the best at home work outs you can do. Depending on your strength level, I'd buy some free weights and a good stability ball.  One of the best workout  DVD for stability ball is Gunner Peterson's Core Secrets. (I hope I spelled his name correctly).  That is a great place to start.  Good Luck and let me know if I can help you out.

What the heck does washing your hair have to do with anything? And they only put you on 500 calorie diet. I would think you would lose all the weight from that alone ? I heard something about HCG side effects could possibly be tumors. That is very scarey for me. I am totally lost here ? can someone explain all this to me haha. What is the KT diet, protocol? Huh?

Does it not freak you out that the hormone is taken out of pregnant womens urine? Also the same hormone can be found in tumors? I heard that growing tumors can be a side effect and they could be the cancer kind?? Someone please give me some info. I am so confused I do not know what to believe.

This another 3 pounds down this morning.  This evening though has been a bit of a test.  I've been suffering relatively intense hunger tonight and it's bothering me.  I figure its one of three things.  1. I didn't mix my HCG correctly.  2. I got a bad batch (don't trust stuff from India much) or 3. Just a bump in the timing.  I did eat a smaller breakfast cuz I couldn't find my scale this morn...  Maybe that's it.  If it continues though I'll have to re-order from a different supplier and try again.  Not that I cannot handle the hunger, I can suffer though but from what I understand you aren't supposed to feel hunger pangs to this extent on HCG.

My first shipment was seized by the FDA.  I called the FDA and the guy there said that it's rare that you'll get inspected but it happens from time to time and I was unlucky.  He said they would send the product back to the shipper and the shipper would most likely try again.    I called drudrugdelivery.ca and they asked me to send a copy of the letter I got from the FDA so they could expedite the re-shipment.

3 more pounds this morn.  Total of 10 pounds in three days of the VLCD.  Yesterday was annoying due to excessive hunger, we'll see how today goes.  I'm certain that I did not drink enough water yesterday so that might have had an effect.  Today is my injection skip day.  I'm going to keep it up with the IM injection rather than subQ.  I still don't have enough data to decide to go subQ yet.  I really wish I could afford to go to a clinic but it's not a possibility right now.  I'll try to keep up the daily reports unless you folks think I'm being too long winded.  It's your forum so let me know if I become annoying.

I just ordered my shippment from the same company as most of you. You say you discarded the extra solution and use bac water from another company? Also, I ordered b12 with it as well. I did a doctor diet 5 years ago and got this shot once a week. Felt great afterwards. Lost 20 pounds, then hit the expected platau. That diet was just too expensive to keep going. Is any one else doing the b12 shots with the hcg shots?? I can wait to use the b12 for when I am off for 6 weeks for the next phase.

I was wondering too about the "no shots" during that time of the month rule. I haven't had the shots for 3 days now and, despite the vlcd, have noticed a marked slowing of weight loss. I'm continuing the clinic shots until I get my shipment. its sooooo expensive... $70/wk, plus the hour and a half drive one way!

I did not take the shots during my period. I did not skip a day once a week because that wasn't stated in KT's description of the protocol. However, after reading and comparing the 2 protocols my friend is going to skip one day a week. She just finnished her 10th day and she has lost 11.5 pounds. Her hips were 48" and after 10 days are 45"(she's a deinite pear shape) and she's gone from a 35" waist down to 32" waist.  She is so happy with her results.

Have completed the eating to capacity phase and 3 shots down. Starting the VLCD today. Took all my measurements before I started. I'll be keeping a journal. Got on the scales before first injection. Have not checked weight today after 3 days of eating. The begining weight is what I'll use to judge the results. No hunger yet. Had trouble eating as much as was suggested. You did get sealed glass ampules didn't you? Everthing I saw on the site was either Sun Pharma or Organon. Mine was Organon in original package with manufactured and expiration date.I'm confident that this is not black market HCG. No need for your supplier to be concerned about a confirmed shipment if they were going to rip you off....This is the same grade of product just from an international branch of these companies.

The company name is posted in this forum in a mojo mom comment. A customs seizure is always a chance you take when ordering anything from outside the US. SRO had a problem but, I did not. Just a chance you take. Although, unfortunately it delays your shipment this company protects you from $$ loss. SRO still got his order and that's the most important thing.

Keep checking the status of the order on the website. Once you see that the order has been shipped there will be a tracking number. I never could track my package but allow 8 to 16 days not counting weekends from ship date. When the package arrived and I was not home to sign for it, the company notified me by email that the package had been return to the post office for pick-up. The mail carrier left a slip for me also. SO the company keeps close tabs on the shipment and will consider the order completed only when you sign for the package..

Fri- weight training /30 min- treadmill 20/min.

As for me I decided, intramuscular. It was just easier for me. Surprisingly there is no pain from the needle. I had pain earlier from injecting too fast.Since I slowed it way down, no problems. I do have some discomfort in the muscle though. Not pain. You just know you had an injection though.

I had to stay on top of GHI Meidcal. As soon as I faxed my bloodwork and confirmed that they had received it I got a call within a few days to get things started - that is where they explain everything.  After their pharmacy called it was sent 2nd day air.  The whole process took about 10 - 14 days.

wfinspector - I had avery high energy level the entire time I was on the hcg. My friend that I'm training hated to work-out but now with the daily weight loss, she is singing a different tune. I looked at your work-out schedule and it looks fine except I see that you are weight training 3 days in a row, which is fine as long as you give the muscle goups that you're working 1 day rest before you hit them again.

Lindaloo - Be sure you do 2-3 weight resistance work-outs. Building muscle builds your metabolism.

the simeons manuscript has the mixing instructions. i think a link is in this forum. please do not start this program until you have done all your research. The proper way to administer intramuscular or subq injections can be found on the wwww. the size needle is based on the method you choose. injecting a substance into your body is a serious matter and shouldn't be taken lightly.

to get a 200 iu injection in a 1 cc shot from a 1500 iu ampule you need 7.5 cc's of bac water. use 1 cc to put in the glass ampule to dilute the powder for extraction. Extract it and discharge it in the sealed glass vial then withdraw another 6.5 cc's of bac water and add to the sealed glass vial... 1500 divided by 7.5 = 200.....So if you only have 7.5 cc's in the vial and you need 1 cc for each shot the vial will last 7.5 days. You would need 4 /1500iu ampules to run a 23 day protocol at 200 iu/ed. So do you have 1500's 5000 or 10,000 iu ampules? Mixing instructions are different for each.

I went to a clinc in Texas and got my first shot on Friday.  pigged out Sat and Sun and started a 750 cal diet on Monday when I received a 2nd shot.  I have been hungry and ate foods off my diet.  I am a little discouraged and not sure what to do.  I am supposed to get three 250 iu shots a week and it will cost $50.00 per week.  They also had a doctor do blood work and gave me an ekg, which I paid 60.00 for.  I need to lose 60 lbs,  ugh....

so what are you using for overall body cleansing?  i know oils, creams and lotions  are out of the question.  i've reasearched organic soaps and find that most contain some type of oil (olive, jojoba, coconut etc) so what do you (ladies) use???  also standard deodorant products contain things like mineral oil which is a KT no no.  i'm already a huge bare minerals girl so that won't be a problem with cosmetics but i've been wondering what the girls are doing to stay good smelling while all this is going on.  also something that hasn't come up.......with the adkins diet i know (my boss did this one) that once the body starts digesting itself ketoacidosis sets in and the odor is really bad.  has anyone experienced this type of reaction from the hcg program?

you mix for exapmple.  you're doing the 150 with 1500vials right?  you mix 1ccwith powder and add 9cc more in the sterile vial for a total of 10cc liquid. using 1cc per day you should get 10 days (roughly) out of each vial right?  so for 43 days you would need 4.3 vials (round to 5).  i think!  so for 7.5cc total bac water per vial and inj 1cc per day i should get 7.5 days (roughly) out of a vial x 6 that i purchased =45 doses.???

yes, if you plan to skip as recommended you should have plenty. you are correct i have 10 days in 1 vial. basically i have a 30 day supply.I'm only doing a 23 day plan. So i can afford to have some waste from bleeding the syringe off before the injection etc. I push the air bubble in the syringe back into the vial but i always bleed off the syringe and a couple of drops are lost before i inject.. Here's the math. You have 7.5 CC's of solution in the vial. Each CC contains 200 International Units of HCG. 200x7.5=1500 which equals the amount you took out of the glass ampule.

I've checked out hcg medical and they reccommend subcutaneous (just under the skin) injections. But everywhere else says to do the injections intramuscularly. Is everyone out there doing them IM?

i also checked out native healing ways and thought they were very helpful.  i went thru ghi medical for my bloodwork and sent my physical forms to them and haven't been able to get with them since to verif they received anything.  so far it's cost me $520 (labwork/physical) and i have nothing.  the only thing i didn't like about NHW was that the product came in preloaded syringes and i am not confident that the potency is going to be good after it's been mixed for the entire 43 day cycle.  both simeons and KT suggest that it's best used when it's freshly mixed.  also i didn't like that they had things added (like b vit) to it.

Hi: I thought the same thing about the premixed syringes but it's day 4 and I'm down 10lbs . . .. so, so far, so good!!

I got a perscription for blood work from my Dr.(no charge) went to the lab and got my cbc panel for $35.00 and faxed it in to NHW  with the 2 forms from their web site and received my hcg in 2 days . . . .

You put the  up coming weeks shots in the fridge and the remainder in the freezer . . . .

NHW gives you 2 syringes for the first Friday and Sat. you pig out over the weekend then you take a shot Monday-Friday(Friday's is bigger because you don't take shots over the weekend)  

take out the following weeks shots(on Friday) from the freezer and put them in the fridge . . . . you take NO shots over the weekend and do the same thing the following week . . . . .

It seems sooooo much easier then all this mixing you guys are talking about . . . . I'm only on week one so I'll let you know if the frozen shots have the same Miraculouse effects as the first!!

All I can say is that I'm in shock and awe and thank God that I've finally found this!!!!!!!!!!

I cleaned and weighed my organic chicken and baked it in lemon juice and put each 3.5oz servings in seperate baggies and did the same with my wild scrod.

I have my mixture of organic tea in the morning and some black organic coffee with stevia

I have my organic chicken and a bag of organic steamed spinach for lunch

I have my organic apple for snack

I have my 3.5oz of wild scrod for dinner and a steamed organic zuccinni for dinner

I have my organic grapefruit for dessert later

I drink tons of Poland Springs water and my caldorn of tea thru out the day

I walk on the treadmill for an hour a day with 2.5lbs weights in each hand

I shower with lemon water as an astringent until my organic soaps and shampoos arrive in the mail

I did have a headache the first 2 days but slept it off

Was a little weak and tired yesterday but slept it off

I was a little hungry . . . but I don't care . . .  JUST GET THRU THE FIRST FEW DAYS THEN YOU'LL BE FINE . .   NOT HUNGRY TODAY!!

O.k I'm really curious did you do the gorge of higher sugar fat foods all the no no foods for the first two days of injections? Dr. Simeons mentioned that it was really important to do and it really helps with hunger/fatigue thing.......So I was thinking it wouldn't happen. Luckily, I have been doing a liver/kidney cleansing for the last few months. Also been doing massage for years monthly and the last few months added lymph drainage massage.

KT gives like 3 pages of goodies needed to make it all work better and I figure that'll keep me plenty busy shopping this weekend. I'm getting poster board to chart it all and having to break down and buy a scale...yikes! It's probably best I had this extra week to be completely prepared.

O.k. Got some questions for you all.  I recently purchaced some hcg from Mexico it was called GONAKOR.  It came in 2500ui sealed glass containers.  It also came with 10ml of mixing fluid.  I will be purchasing some bac water to mix the hcg with but I am unsure of how much to mix with the hcg.  I am currious about either taking 150ui or 200ui , I am not sure which would be better.  If you have any suggestions please help me.  By the way if any of you are close to Yuma, you can hop the border and pick up the hcg for 12.00 per 2500ui.  Customs did not even blink about the GONAKOR.  Please help me, I really want to get started, I need to loose 45lb.

no........the $400 wasn't for the hcg.  that would be another $210(plus the cost of needles).  the money was for the labwork that they insisted on before they could prescribe the hcg.  there would be a 3-4 week wait for the hcg AFTER they got all my paperwork.  they got that last friday and i still haven't been able to confirm that they've received it.  i wish i'd heard about NHW before i went thru all this.  that's why i didn't order from NHW and went with dddc.  i had already spent so much i thought i'd just get it as inexpensively as possible.  if i'd known about NHW i would already be using my hcg and you and i could compare success stories!!!  that's ok though, i'll have it intime for the end of my cycle ( i hope) so i'll be ready to start about the first week of sept if all goes well.

well i did hear from ghi medical today finally (decided to call one last time!)and they said all the paperwork has gone to their dr. for review and i should hear from them within 1 week.  she said after that time i would pay for the product and receive it 1-2 days later.  i asked why i was told 3-4 week wait and she said they were all set on the backorders and should process quickly. she also said i would receive a copy of all the labwork via email today (hasn't come yet) for my records.   i also heard from dddc that my order is being processed and should ship in 1-2 days.  after that i would receive a confirmation and it should arrive in the states 7-18 days.  i think i may go ahead and order more hcg from ghi med when they finally get all the paperwork.  i know i had planned on completing phase 3 and waiting 4 weeks and doing another 23 day protocol because i don't imagine i'd lose all i wanted to in the 43 days (i am hoping for about 50lbs) so then i won't have to go thru all this waiting again!!!   my hcg kit (needles/water etc) arrived today from hcg supplies so i'm ready to go!!!

This is my 5th day on the diet and I am sooo hungry?  I got my first shot last Fri and then did the splurge over the weekend.  When I weighed in on Monday I had gained 4.8 pounds!!! I was so discouraged but was told that was good and all that plus should drop off by my next shot.  Well I went back on wednesday and I only dropped 2.8 pounds.  I went back today and lost another 2 pounds but I am the exact weight I was before i started the shots?   Is this right?  I have been getting a shot of 250iu in the hip or arm(rotating sides) becasue it is supposed to be injected in the muscle?  today my arm was bleeding after the shot and my husband said if it was going int he muscle it would not bleed??  I paid alot of money to start this clinic and I pay $50.00 a week for my shots but i am not sure this is working?  Anyone ?

i'm not sure about that one.  i haven't started shots yet so i'm no expert.  it looks like you get an injection every other day (total of 3 per week).  is that right?  i don't know why they do it that way because neither KT or dr simeons suggests that type of cycle but as we've seen on this forum many people have diff methods and all have been working.  the total of what you're getting is 750iu per week (the same as if you got 6 shots a week at 125iu).  are you watching what you're using on your face/body such as cosmetics etc?   but the fact that you're still so hungry after one week suggests to me that even though it's the same amount of product each week, maybe spreading larger doses out over longer periods of time isn't agreeing with you?  are you going to be doing the 43 day protocol?

yes I wanted to do the 43 day protocol but the weight loss clinic I am going to gave me 750 cal diet to follow and I get a shot of 250 iu on Mon, Wed and Fri.  I have not cheated and I did lose 4.8 pounds in 5 days but that is what I put on over the weekend?  I am still washing with regular soap and only using lotion on my face?  I was thinking if I could find a place on line that was reputable that I would order and do this myself.  I am going to stick with this over the weekend and see how I do when I go get my shot on Monday.  My stomach is growling as we speak!!

I am getting ready to start with the hCG diet. I've always struggled with my weight ever since I can remember. I lost 40# last year by taking appetite suppressants and eating 1200cals a day. Then I had back surgery and had to stop taking the meds and within 6 months I gained all back plus more. I am desperate to lose weight and I hope this protocol is my answer. honey, let me tell you that i order from ghi, it took me more than 5 weeks  for the doctor to call me. I also sent 4 to 5 email and at the end i told them that i decided to go somewhere else. I asked if i could get at least some of my money back.  Four of those email were answered with, "I spoke to the dr, expect his call.  Let me Know if he call you etc.  After, i asked for my money back, two days later, the pharmacy called me.  The "pharmacy" not the doctor sent me the medication.

Your question about my liver/kidney cleanse it's from a Natural Path DR. that I see too, its called UNDA and you put 5 drops in water 3 x a day super easy, real mild through the body. I used them until the bottles where gone (about 2 months).  I felt no real difference, I do spend far more time in the bathroom than anyone else in the house.... LOL...  I have actually gotten a liver cleanse product from Whole foods that I thought works better. It was a 2 week and within a day my medications seemed like they worked better and I plan on doing that one next.

Sorry it's been a while since I posted.  It has now been 8 days on the VLCD and I'm doing okay.  I still get a bit hungry from time to time but it's usually right before bed and I am able to sleep it off.  I have dropped 16 pounds in 8 days which averages out to 2 pounds a day if you're bad at math like me;)  I love that idea, lindaloo.  The desert island idea.  Awesome!  I like to watch Survivorman on the Discovery Channel for inspiration.  The host sometimes lives off 500 calories a week!  I have not been exercising at all until today.  I went on a two mile walk and I felt fantastic!  I will be exercising a lot more from now on.  I do find myself craving foods from time to time though.  Today I watched an entire 1 hour special about cheese on the History Channel.  The thing is, it isn't the hunger that's bugging me, it's the experience of eating good food!  I can deal with it though because I know it's not forever.  I survived nine weeks of Army Basic Training at Sand Hill (home of the Infantry) and this is not even HALF as tough.

Pursy,  Are you under a doctor's care for your injections?  If so, bring the hunger problem to the doctor's attention.  If not, you may not have good HCG (who's your supplier) you might be doing something wrong, you may not be following the protocol correctly.  If you're not doing better by the third day I'd play it safe and discontinue the VLCD and re-evaluate the situation.  Maybe talk to a doctor who does HCG treatment.  I suppose I shouldn't talk since I'm going solo on the treatment, but it's working well for me.  If it wasn't, I'd probably spring for the expert medical advice.  I might spring for it anyway as I will have to take a second and probably a third course of HCG.

I wonder if the foods your getting to eat are similar or not as to what we all will eat with Dr. Simeons plan?.

Also to help with hunger make sure you're drinking a gallon a water a day and assorted teas. I'd get Dr.Simeons book and Kevin Treadeu's book if you don't already have them and see if it feels better than your current treatment plan.

If so, maybe you can ask them to give you the injections daily? we will be following the 6 day- I believe. and than those of us menstrating too will have no injections that week. Also watch your lotions, face cleansers, read every label-  think of your skin as a sponge.  

Keep going- it'll be so worth it!

thanks guys.  I am hanging in there.  I do not feel bad today and my scale shows another pound down so I am losing a pound a day since Monday but I had put on that initial 4.8 pounds over the splurge so really I have only lost 1 pound???  As long as I see the scale moving I will be ok.  I have been drinking more water and that seems to help.

On the 750 cal diet from my clinic this is what I eat

breakfast-  3/4 c special k cereal w/ 1/2 c skim milk

lunch-  5 oz protein
          1 c veggies or salad

Yes, I save all my lemon peels from my tea and cooking and throw them into a canister by the kitchen sink and let them sit in water untill it's shower time .. . . I love it . . . I feel so lemonie fresh and clean .. . .  today my organic soaps, shampoo and cream rinse arrived so I used the shampoo and rinse for my hair but I decided not to use the soap because it's loaded with all kinds of oils (lavender oil, coconut and olive oil, hemp and jojoba oil . . . they are all organic but they are still oils so I say no)

The shampoo and cream rinse are from Organit Gate (smell really great)
The soaps are Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Soaps

I'll let you know if using the Samp/Crm Rnse has any effect on my weight loss . . . . I hope not!!!

i got online looking for your nature's gate products.  i found a body wash that sounds like it could work.  it was mostly just plant extracts.  the only oil listed was lemon mytle oil and it was listed almost 2/3 of the way down the ing list so it isn't very prominant in the mixture.  i think i'm ordering that.  i work closely with the public (a dental hygienist) and i can't be worried about smelling like a goat!!   actually there were lots of items including deodorant!!!   i ordered it from cvs.com and they had $5.00 off and free shipping.

Day 11 of VLCD 19 pounds lost.  I am skeptical about the fat absorption through skin.  I never use lotions but I use liquid soap with glycerin and regular shampoo and have still been losing weight.  If you all think it matters, then by all means, use the products you think are best, but I have made no changes in my hygiene products and have still continued to lose weight.

I agree with Lindaloo.... Simeon's protocol definitely says no carbs or dairy.  You may lose be losing weight not, but I think it will hurt you in the long run.

Also, various clinics altering the protocol is precisely what many people, including Dr. Belluscio, are afraid of.  If a clinic alters the protocol and then it doesn't work HCG gets a bad rap.  HCG does work, but you have to remain pure...follow Simeon's protocol to a  Tee.   If you don't have it please do a search on this forum...it's been posted before.

Went to Whole Foods today.... they have a Heavy Metal cleanse from Renew there - also a Candida one.  So you may not need to order online per the book. I have used a few of there other cleanses before and even a fiber which I liked.

The Liver Cleanse from Whole Foods was Complete Liver Cleanse from Enzymatic - really like this and easy to follow, and few pills a day.  

Anyone using the Krill oil? I normal fish oil I use called Essential Woman which I really like, Its got the Omega's 3, 6, 9 , primrose oil, flax and a few other good things. So I was hoping it was enough. Would like to hear though is anyone is using the Krill.

ok, here's my report. Started injections and gorge on the 17th. Started VLCD on 20th. As of this morning (the 27th) have lost 16.4 lbs. loss has leveled off to around 1.5 lbs. each day. have lost about 2 inches in the waist so far. no energy loss,no headaches. Hungry sometimes but only certain times of the day. I'm not a severe case so i expect the loss to slowly decrease as i get closer to my ideal weight. 12 more injection days and 15 more diet days left. Should reach my 30 lb goal easily if things do not change.

Awsome!!!!! I started on the same day, wfinspector, and I'm down 15lbs. as of this morning. I've got a bit more to lose so I'm on the 6 week plan. I think it's getting easier once you get thru the 1st week . . .. mine was a bit more gruling (headaches the first few days and had bouts of exhausion & hunger) . . . but I feel great today!!!

no change in what I normally use except I'm not using skin lotions. I am not eating organics either as it was not mentioned in the Simeons plan. I don't know if it would have a more beneficial effect if I were eating organics. Only modification to diet is on workout days I consume 4 ozs. of Redline energy drink. This has so far had no effect on the loss. I do anticipate a leveling off in loss as I get closer to goal weight. My main concern as discussed with Lyndamc was muscle loss from such a severe decrease in calorie intake. It has so far shown to be reserve (abnormal) fat burn. I was curious if the Keto Stix used in the Atkins diet would actually show the Ketosis process (fat burn) part of this diet. This diet is simailar as far as the restriction of carbohydrates to force the body to burn fat for energy. I am convinced that my body does not deal with carbohydrates well and excees carbs create a big problem for me. The HCG has shown so far to prevent muscle loss and time will tell if it moves the abnormal fat areas. I took all body measurements prior to begining. I know where the problem areas are and can determine if this truly works. .

Great work! Seems like we are moving along at the same pace. Are you in the 1.5 lb loss per day range. I just want to make sure that is typical. It has gotten much easier but, I still dread the shots everyday. Not that it hurts but, I just don't look forward to it. The shots are only painful if I don't let the solution warm up enough. I have found that I must inject very slowly also and even then when I standt up I can definetly tell I just took one to the thigh.

since the needles are so short how are you sure you're getting IM?  i purchased the smaller diab needles too and i wonder if i'll be able to get that deep or if it will actually be subQ even if i'm intending on IM.  the girl from NHW told me to just go below the navel and push straight in as far as it will go.  rotate between that and the leg just below the panty towards the outer leg and in the upper rump area.  is this where you two are injecting?  i want the results you guys are getting and i'm afraid if i stick with strictly sub Q i won't get that.  any injection advice?

I'd love to hear too, I give myself B-12 shots weekly already cause I'm so low in that department. I use my upper thigh in the sitting position and I numb my area with ice. Once it feels really cold I inject with a 30 gauge needle almost all the way to the top of it maybe 3/4.

Maybe to some its no biggie but I hate needles. I was hoping I could use my spot to do these injections. Am I going deep enough?

Just below the navel is a Subq injection site I thought. I'm rotating thighs at the moment. But, I'm using 27 Ga. 1 1/4 inch needles too. There is no question I'm in the muscle. How long are your needles? Short needles for intramuscular injections are only used on infants and toddlers who do not have a lot of muscle mass......I have not researched subq vs. IM only read that IM provides the medication to the body quicker. I assume either is an acceptable method for results...

Never tried the numbing with ice. That should work great!  Quite frankly I do not notice the needle when it is inserted. I really only feel pressure in the muscle area after the shot. And the pressure (not pain) may last an hour or two. I'm curious to know what length needles you guys are using. I'm using what was recommended for IM injections from the supplier of the kit and also research size on the WWW.

just getting ready to start.  ?about the bact solution..is there any distinction between injectable and not?  I bought some on line from researchsuppy.com and it never said either way.
also, so I have to drink the teas?and what to I buy? I am waiting for shipment and have a few weeks, want to start fresh at start of my cycle.  do I have to do the cleanse/teas and can get them from somewhere other than kt sites? too much $$ and I want to follow more of simeon's PC.  also, ordered a 1/2" 29G diabetic to inject guess I'll have to go subQ w/them too short otherwise?  I could get more for IM, what sz would you suggest?  BIG question?  How do I store this stuff after I mix w/bact solution? Fridge?  Thanks so much

i think you're right about the needles.  the ones i received are 1/2 inch diab needles.  that's what the gal at NHW states they send with their preloaded syringes.  lindaloo..........you'll have to tell us if that's correct.  the gal told me they were tiny needles and i wondered how they would get thru all the fat and soft tissue layers to get into the muscle but she assured me they would.  my guess is it's really just a subQ shot since the needles are so short.  

itmama.........what size needles are you using?  what did you order for your hcg?  about another week and i hope we're on the same boat!!!

Bacteriostatic water is nothing more than sterile water in a sealed plastic container. As long as it's sealed and sterile it's fine.  1/2 inch needles may reach some of yalls muscles but if you have any amount of fat in  the injection area you choose, it will be a difficult thing to pull off.  Subq injections are given at an angle just below the skin vs. IM which is a 90 degree deep insertion into the muscle. Minimum length for needle for an adult to do IM is 1 inch.  I like the 1 1/4. But, if everyone feels confortable with subq don't change. If this is what is being recommended by your suppliers I assume it is acceptable...Now if you are not sure where to store your solution once it is mixed I would have to say that you need to do a whole lot more research on this program before you start.
