so anyone that ordered from drugdelivery dot ca.  just as wfinspector said the track number for the usps they give you is worthless.  they told me once it entered the USA i would be able to track with that number.  the package arrived today at my home and i tried yesterday to track it and couldn't.

how long was it from the time they gave you the useless tracking number until it was in your box?  They sent me a tracking # yesterday and said that my order was leaving the UK to the US.  Just curious.

Can you tell me how we measure out our veggies for VCD?  Haven't some across that in either manuscript or KT's book.  I must be missing it.  I know the meat is 100g raw.

Anyone use the Tom's toothpaste?  It has glycerin in it...that's a veg. oil is that ok to use???

well my order posted on the 22nd of aug.   i got a confirmation that it processed on the 24 (they said the priority ship meant quicker processing in their pharm).  on the 27th i received an email that my order had shipped out of UK.  i received it today so total from order posting to receipt 18 days (counting labor day, sat and sun).  that seems to be the lucky number.

regarding tom's......if you are looking to elim SLS from your product list (probably a good idea) skip toms.  and i know how some people feel about fluoride in their products but as a hygienist i have to tell you......topical fluoride isn't going to hurt you.  i have well water and i don't have fluoride in the water so when my kids were little the ped told me to give them vit with fluor.  i didn't feel good about that because fluoride does occur in other things naturally (for instance tea has about 4 times the amount of fluoride as water with extra fluoride in it.  that means with all the tea we are drinking our teeth should be in great shape).  point is there are other natural sources of fluoride so i didn't give it to my kids and i'm very careful when i recommend it to my patients because you just don't know what the child is already getting.  however.......topical fluoride such as in toothpaste, fluoride tx at the dds, fluoride rinses are fantastic.  as long as kids/aldult don't eat or swollow it.  that's why we don't stress fl to kids before they are old enough to understnad spit don't swollow.  so, long story short (too late i know) if you're looking for a natural toothpaste avoid SLS (foaming agent/pos cancer causer) and don't be too afraid of fluoride.

the only mention i remember from dr s was that you measure 1 large handful of any one of the veg per meal.  however much 1 large handful is.

thanks so much for the feedback.  I didn't know about the SLS.  As for the FL....my thoughts are still out on that.  I drank well water all my life and never had a FL treatment.  We brushed w/mostly baking soda paste believe it or not.  I am 34 years old and have yet to have a cavity.  Of 5 kids in our family, we have had 3 combined.  I try to stick as much to what the Lord gave us a possible.  But thanks for the feedback.....I'll stick it in my "to think on box".  Is the SLS in every other commercial grade toothpaste?  even the kids stuff?  The stuff they put in us.....you can never turn your back, I swear!
I have a farmer that I buy my meats from near home.  They are not certified organic but essetially they are...all grass fed...free range, you know.  She was telling me this week how Tyson and Purdue are putting no antibiotics, hormones and such on their labels.  That's great, right?  Not so great....she told me that since they can't use that stuff to prevent disease they have now turned to using arsenic and phermaldahyde in their feed!  guess who's eating that?!  Can't they just let a chicken  be a chicken?  Food for thought the next time you buy some bok bok.

UB: Ft. Lauderdale, FL on the beach (God I miss my ocean) I know the market isn't great . . . I did a flip down there 3 years ago just before the market went kapooie . . . . sold it just in time (right after huricane Wilma . . . was lucky the people still bought it even after the 30 foot tree went down in the yard) . . . Gonna put mom over by her sis in Ledo Beach Long Island . . . they're good together and mom hates Florida.

mid123: I use Tom's toothpaste . . . it's ok but if you're use to backing soda, I'd stick with that.

Mama: You never know . . .you by the ocean? Cold up there  no? I know the waves are good but I hate wearing a wet suit!! I may hit CA, got an old buddy in LA . . . property soooo expensive though!! I'd love to learn masonry . . . tile & stone work . . .

He does Commerical Masonary now, but he did homes for 8 years before.

There's a whole coast of beaches here. The San Juan Islands are so beautiful a must see - Orca Whales, sea lions, good fishing and crabbing. As for the cold it's only really a month and never much under freezing. We get a bit of rain for certain months but everything is green and smells good because of it. We are skiers so we love getting drive only 45 minutes to it. Summer never gets over 90's hardly ever and if it does it's a day or too total. If it snows it's a inch or two and people freak out. Actually the weather is pretty mild. Florida though it was warm when we went to Disney World a few times. The kids loved the heat, but they also liked Costa Rica.

I read Dr. Simeon's manuscript and it said that the only thing that was allowed to be put on the skin for a moisterizer was mineral oil.  But, in KT's book, it says that mineral oil is not allowed.  Now I'm confused.  I'm worried about my nose getting real dry and peeling without putting something on it.  I've tried doing without before and that's what happens.  Is there anything?

are you doing the hcg yet?  it says you shouldn't have any moisture problems because you're so hydrated but i'm like you.  my skin is a little flakey sometimes too.  and in other areas it's a little oily.   i was wondering about oil free moisturizers???  maybe just in the problem areas.  yours is your nose......mine is around my eyes.  i don't know though.......anyone have any ideas???

I'm not doing hcg yet.  I will get started as soon as my monthly visitor leaves.  Should be tuesday.  I was just thinking that maybe sweating will help.  If no one else has any ideas, I might try that.  If it also says that we shouldn't have any moisture problems while on hcg, maybe I wont have to worry about it though.  I'll just have to see how it goes and let you know.  Let me know how it goes for you too when you get started.

Jaco Beach is a surfer’s paradise. We were in Los Suenos Resort and Marina - google Marriott hotels and resorts. That resort was beautiful and huge. Condo and home there and Los Suenos Resort was about a 2 hour drive from San Jose'. The scenery is amazing. A must see is Manuel Antonio National Park. Inside we had a family of monkeys following us the whole time. It was unreal, we have the whole thing on video. Iguana's everywhere like squirrels in Central Park. Oh I almost forgot, take a boat to Tortuga Island so pretty we spent the day just looking at shells.

UB: I plan on joining the party early, it takes the 3 days to get the Hcg going (gorge days) I figure I'll start 2 days before the company leaves. ; ) Are you feeling the same today, even with injection?

Eruaistaniel/UB - I also got to thinking are you using a fish oil supplement? Mine actually is from Whole Foods I posted about it before and is great for hair, skin and nails. Essential Woman by Barleans. It'll help keep you moist.

Ub/Loo: I take 200mg of B-6 a day it naturally get the excess water off. I used to flux up and down  with a pound or too but once I started taking it, I don't. It's an herbal too so we can take it.

Loo: how many days on injection now? Didn't it say things would start to even out and you were on quite a roll dropping more than a pound a day in the beginning. Please be careful with doing too much today if your only eating apples, I'd skip your treadmill. You don't need to be passed out on the floor when buyers come by for the open house!

By the way Happy Birthday!.........the fish oil should be fine.... KT calls for Krill oil... The fish oil is Omega 3, 6, 9 and I plan on still taking it myself.  Also there isn't a calorie break down or fat gram info on the side, so I don't think it'll effect anything. I thought herbal supplements were fine to take too ?

So are you getting sick of chicken and sea bass yet? Have you eaten any beef?  Good luck today, you've done all the work, it'll happen! Staging really makes a huge difference.

Ub: I forgot to add the nice thing about B-6 is that it doesn't strip the body of needed Potassium like h20 pills. I've taken both and the b-6 you'll see works almost immediate.

I'm really not sick of it at all . . . . I chop up some organic garlic and fresh dill and put that on top of them with fresh lemon juice and bake . . .  awesome!!! I have not eaten any beef (not a big red meat eater). The sea bass is sooooo good  . . . I could eat that all the time and the chicken, I use certified organic Glat Kosher chicken (very lean and yummie.) I get red beets, scrub them up good, wrap them in tin foil and toss in the oven for an hour and keep them in the fridge so they are ready to eat and fresh chubby green beans with a little sea salt and pepper . . . cut them up and steam them for a few minutes  -  delish!

obviously you're losing so it's working but i don't see beets or green beans in the choices list.  i see beet greens  though.  how long do you cook the fish?  i couldn't get the sea bass so i got orange rughy and halibut.  i assumed they were ok because both were white fish??  i guess they'll have to do,.  mix in some chix and i think from time to time i'll do a very lean beef also.  i need the variety!

Now that I think about it I only started eating the beets and greenbeans a week ago, before I was eating spinach, lettuce, celery, tomatos & Zuccs(I know zucchini's not on KT's list) . . .  maybe that's why the stop in weight loss . . . . ok, I'll go back to spinach.

Loo: so Popeye what are you putting on the spinach? Also on your NHW list does it have green beans, snow & snap peas? Please, please say yes..... It also says green salad...are doing romane, green leaf or iceburg?

Ub: Are you going to do the teas? or coffee in the AM. What does the first meal plan day look like for you?

by Lindaloo, Sep 09, 2007 07:30PM

Just sea salt and pepper on the spinach . . .  NHW veggie list is: Asparagus, Bamboo shoots, Green Beans, Bean Sprouts, Yellow Beans, Beets, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chard, cucumbers, eggplant, green pepper, kale, Iceberg, Romaine, mushrooms, okra, onion, radishes, spinach, squash summer & yellow, zucchini, tomatoes, turnip greens, turnips & watercress . . . . but maybe we should just stick with KT's list cause maybe that's why my weight loss stopped???? I don't know.

To: lindaloo/mama
see i wonder about all those veggies.  dr s said specifically that even though some veg might even be lower in calorie the combination of the foods was really important.  i would think that some of them (like the beets and carrots) are so full of sugar that it might slow things down.  dr s even mentions peppers and okra specifically.   i don't know but i think i'd go back to the original.  the only thing i remember being allowed to mix was the diff salad greens.

i started with the yerba mate and wulong tea.  also i like an herbal for bedtime.  lots of water and i love the gevalia peruvian organic coffee in the am.  gotta have it.  i've even learned to love it without milk.

well i'm going to do the 3 day feast like linda did.  i know it's hard to figure by dr s. book so i'm going with his one line that says by diet day 2 or 3 (injection day 5 or 6) minor complaints improve while weight continues to drop.  so that tells me gorge for 3 days.  so tomorrow is another piggie day.  i'm stuffed all the time!!!  i don't know if i can pack more in!!  please tell me i'll be able to stop!!!

Oh I wish that was all I had to lose!
I don't think the injections would be worth your time and money for 10-15 pounds.
A very low cal diet with exercise would most likely work best and drink lots of water.
I am not takeing the shots yet (waiting on my order to arrive) However, I am doing a low cal diet
from KT's weight lose protocol.  I am 5 days into phase one and I have lost 12lbs.
That should be all you need.
Good luck!

well looking at a basic weight chart a small framed woman of 5'5" the average wt is between 117-130 but a medium framed woman is between 127-141.  if you are a medium framed woman you are well within the range of normal.  i think before you consider doing a program that is as strict as this one you need to do a whole bunch of research and take a good look in the mirror.  are you really overweight?  do you have unrealistic ideas of what you want/should look like?  maybe a simple modified diet for a short time would do the trick for you.  at 22 i could drop 10lbs without batting an eye.  maybe you need to just watch things for a bit and increase your exercise.  this hcg program is pretty drastic and it doesn't sound like you know enough about it yet to make the committment.  get kevin trudeau's book or google "pounds and inches"  by dr. simeons.  read and reread the information then decide if this is for you.

What are you doing for the salad... are you just adding juice of 1/2 a lemon? I was re-reading Dr. S stuff last night making a list and it got me it thinking, it said "vinegar".... but in KT book he said apple cider vinegar. How about red-wine or balsamic vinegar?  Also Dr. S says Melba toast- are either of you having 1 cracker/piece of that?

by ubflossn, Sep 10, 2007 12:03PM
To: itmama
i think when the original protocol was written "organic" was assumed.  i think apple cider vinegar was the standard but now there's a huge variety.  i love white balsamic but i know it's a bit sweeter so i'll avoid it.  also since yeast/candida can be a problem i'll probably limit the vinegar and focus mostly with the lemon. i bought an organic spring mix and a that's what i'll use.  i am staying away from the melba because there is also no way of knowing if our melba and that which was used in dr s's time is the same thing.

by Lindaloo, Sep 10, 2007 12:21PM
To: Mama /Ub
I use organic apple cider vinegar on my salad & no melba toast . . . Ub, does vinegar contribute to candida? I was using the Three Lac a few weeks before starting but stopped it during phase 2 . . .  will use it again in phase 3 . . .  I should have asked the dr. to do a candida test when I had my blood drawn. And what exactly is candida? Is it mucus or fungus?

I think the apple day did me good (not even hungry the whole day) but when I weighed myself this morning my scale was all over the place . . . everytime I moved it the number changed . . . . I'm going with 152.5 cause that was the number I got the majority of the time but geeze . . . can't get a break (or a straight answer, even from my scale)

by ubflossn, Sep 10, 2007 01:00PM
To: lindaloo
candida is yeast.  breads, pasta, vinegar etc.....all contribute.  not everyone has a problem with it i guess but we're learning that you don't even have to have symptoms.  there's the saliva in the water test.  if you spit in a glass of water first thing in the am (before brushing teeth) and let it sit a while.  look at the glass from the side.....if the saliva has little legs down to the bottom of the glass it's probably yeast.  who knows right!!  and i was rereading dr simeons book about your problem with the weight stagnent for 4 days (he calls 4-6 day with no chg a plateau)he says............."a plateau frequently occurs during the second half of a full course, particularly in patient shat have been doing well and whose overall average of nearly a pound per effective injection has been maintained.  those who are losing more than the average all have a plateau sooner or later.  a plateau always corrects itself, but many patients who have become accustomed to a regular daily loss get unnecessarily worried.  no amount of explaination convinces them that a plateau does not mean they are no longer responding normally to treatment.  in such cases we consider the apple day".  but he warns that "needless to say, an apple-day may never be given on the day on which there is no injection."

anyway......you've lost 27.5lbs!!!!  that's fantastic!!!  did your house sell too??  wouldn't that be a great day!

I wish . . . I did have one nice broker come and she's looking for a woman who wants to relocate here from Vegas . . she said this would be perfect for her and her 21yr old son (side entrance to a finished basement) and that she would be here in 2 weeks . . . she's going to bring her by then (keep fingers crossed)!! If it doesn't sell by then we are going to give it to a broker . . .  I was trying to sell by owner to save mom some cash!!

I thought I read that I wasn't suppose to do the apple day with no injection but I did it anyway and no worries. So candida is yeast . . .you'd think the vinegar would cut thru that and not be a contributor, huh? I'll try the saliva test tomorrow.

Just got off the phone with Brock from NHW and ordered the "goods." Hopefully it will be here by this weekend so i can start gorging on friday. Im so happy to have this wonderful forum to share and learn from, i'll keep you all posted.

Also regarding vinegar: i'm pretty sure that balsamic and red wine vinegar both have alot of sugar. Your best bet is Apple cider vinegar for salad dressing. I make my own its great. Its organic extra virgin olive oil, AC vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and some honey..
Can i have oilve oil in my dressing on the protocol?

I used GHI Medical here in Florida where I live.  Just over a week ago I sent in all my paperwork.  It came to over $600 (can't remember exactly how much) because I ordered the Candida yeast test too.  Does anyone know whether I'm obligated to purchase the hcg from them if I get a clear bill of health?  Is it an option to just go ahead and purchase it from drugdelivery.ca without a prescription?  I know it's around $200 for a six week supply (I think) from GHI Medical while at drugdelivery.ca, it's about $90 including shipping for 1 ampoule (10,000 iu's).  Is that enough for a six week treatment.  Also, where do I buy the needles and the bac water and whatever else I'll need to administer the injections?

Thanks for any suggestions.

sounds like you are exactly where i was last month.  they have all my paperwork and have given me a clean bill of health and everytime i try to pin down someone that would actually order the hcg they tell me that someone will get back to me.  i paid for all the labwork etc early in aug and i'm still waiting.  i know lyndamc used ghi and had great success but it's my opinion that it's a racket!  i did order from drug delivery dot ca and it arrived 18 days after i ordered.  i purchased all my supplies including needles, water, vials etc from hcg supplies dot com.  wonderful company, very helpful.  if you email them with a question they get back to you PDQ!  you order in a kit for however many days you are doing the protocol.  if you are going to get enough for a 6 week supply i would suggest ordering the 1500iu vials.  that way it's always fresh.  one pack comes with 3 vials so order 2 packs.  if i had known the expiration date was so far off in the future i would have ordered another pack because i think i'll be doing it this time for the full 43 days and probably one more time for 23 days.  that way i would have only had to pay the shipping ($30) one time for all.  now i'll have to pay it again but i was afraid it wouldn't be long before the stuff expired and i won't be starting it again til after the new year probably.  the supplies arrived in just a matter of a few days.  the hcg is what everyone is waiting for so if you're going to do it order as quickly as you know.

it supposed to be colorless.  lindaloo's has a pink or red tint though i think because of the vit b that her company adds but without anything mixed in it should be clear.

I feel good. I know I feel lighter but my scale seems out of wack . . . every time I get on it it says a different # . . . I just got it 2 weeks ago . . .  maybe I should get a new better one?? I was the same 154.5lbs for 4 days so I did the apple day on Sun.  . .  then on Monday the scale said 152.5 (the majority of the time 151 -158)  . . . now today it's jumping around again (everything from 152 - 155) so I don't know . .  any suggestions on a good scale to get?? The one I have is digital from Target $20.

Yes M, Friday is a good day to start with our NHW's program . . . this way you'll have off on the weekends(no shots)

It's 9/11 all . . . shout out a prayer!!

Hi everyone, I am new to these forums and love reading about everyone'e success!! I just started Phase 2 yesterday, I am curious though, I got my product from NHW and the injections have only a 1/2 inch needle....seems pretty small to me, IM is generally 1- 1 1/2 inch needles. Did any of you get your stuff from NHW? If so, are you having good results with these 1/2 inch needles? They would barely be Sub-Q they are so small. thanks for all your help!!

Whew!  Sure I'm glad to hear that.  I thought there was something wrong with mine because it wasn't pink.  lol

Took my first injection this morning.  Didn't even feel it.  The needle is so short there's no way I could do it IM.  I have no choice but to do it sub-q.  I hope it works just as well that way for me.  We'll see.

well i bought both the 1/2 inch and 1 1/4 inch but i'm a little worried about the longer ones.  seems like a greater chance of hitting a vien going that deep but you're right, there's no way anyone is going IM with a short needle.   i'll probably try going deeper once i get the hang of it though.  don't know if i'll see a difference.

Ok people. Consuming around 1000 calories daily now and the weight has leveled off and stayed pretty much the same. Don't mean to make you jealous but actually had a glass of red wine Sunday night with a 4 oz. fillet mignon and grilled portabella with tomatoe and basil......The body comp is scheduled for the 17th and I'll report the results on % body fat. 19 lbs total in 17 days before I had to stop. (You know the story) 6 inch loss in the waist and 4 inch in the hips. Noticeable fat loss in the upper chest as well, so the resculpting has been accomplished. Will base the need for another cycle on what the percentages come in at. I'm really anxious to find out.....

Mreasearcher: Only weigh once in the morning after you empty your bladder. I know it's hard not to keep checking but take the first figure and don't look back. My scales were $100 and did the same thing. However, they only changed by tenths of a pound never pounds. If you are getting pound differences when standing on them repeatedly there may be something wrong with them. But do not check weight any other time of the day except first thing in the morning..........

I'm injecting tomorrow 1st one. Company is nearing the end of its stay and it takes 3 days anyway... I'm seeing the Pharmacist today; I really don't want to screw up the mixing. I am so excited.

My mom is also getting re-married Friday and I didn't tell my family what I'm doing, so I didn't want to make a issue with how I'm eating compared to everyone else at an Italian restaurant..

Loo: I have a scale from target too but I think it was $30.00 I know with this digital, if it gets moved at all you are supposed to get on and get off without taking real note of the number. It is a reset thing. Then get on and it should read correctly. But anytime you move it do the reset thing first. It's made by Taylor)

I started the HCG diet yesterday. I feel pretty good this morning, except for the vomiting that occured this am. The diet regimen I am following is 500-550 calories. There were ladies in the waiting room who had lost 60 + lbs. I am 210 and want to be about 140.

New poster btw. I hope this works! I had tried everything. I was exercising 4-5 days a week with 30 minutes weight training 3 days a week and 45 minutes to 1 hour of cardio just about everyday and the scale just won't budge anymore.

What is the injection amount your being given? and how often? Most people here are following the Dr. Simeons plan and it is 6 days a week of injection of 125 - 200.

Does anyone know? Also, the needle thing...are you guys ALL using over 1 inch needles? Is anyone using the 1/2 inch that NHW sends, and is it effective? Thanks a bunch!

We are all here for each other. I don't think you'll ever run into someone not responding to you on this discussion. Pretty chatty on this one! (But I can't say on the other groups)

I know Lindaloo got her stuff from the same place as you, and ubflossn is using the same size needle...Ub just posted today to (ALL) meaning everyone here... about those needles. I have an inch and will get longer if I need it, but I have been injecting b-12 for quite a while and I get IM with that length.

On the teas- I am a cold drinker myself and switching to tea sucks for me, but there is a reciepe I believe Lindloo posted back away. Check up the posts a little, I can't remember for sure. I think she is just adding lemon and stevia.

Welcome all you new guys!!

gileegirl:
Hi, welcome aboard . . . I'm using NHW needles and yes they are short but they've been working for me . . . so don't worry!! I make a big pot of tea every morning . . .  dump a 3 liter bottle of Poland Springs into a pot with 2 Yerba Mate, 2 Wu-long and 2 organic green tea bags, 6 stevia packets and a big lemon . . . I drink it hot but mostly cold or room temp. . . . . it will help fill you up!! Also I drink a lot of organic black coffe with stevia . . . .  that seems to take away most hunger pangs you may feel at first!! Good Luck!!!

Wfinspector/Mama: Thanks, I'll leave the scale in one place from now on and see what happens!

Wow, thanks for all the tea tips, I will try them! I've used Stevia in both powder form as well as drops, I definately like the powder better, I will try it. What about the Eleotin that KT suggests? Do any of you guys use that? I looked it up yesterday and it is so dang expensive!! I"ve noticed I'm very hungry today, my 1st day was a piece of cake, today I'm just STARVED, supposedly the Eleotin is supposed to help with that but I just cant spend that much..  Anyway thanks guys!

wow!!!  look at all the buzzing on here! this is great!!!  well it's day 4 of phase 2 and day 1 of the vlcd and i'm not sure if i'm hungry or just used to eating.  maybe that's it.  i feel like i could really crunch on some pretzel stix!!!  so i'll have celery for dinner and pretend.  i don't have a headache so i'm feelin pretty good.  i am looking forward to dinner though!

wfinspector.....i'm so glad to hear from you.  i wondered howyou were doing and red wine and filet is my light at the end of the tunnel!!!

itmama.......i'm so glad you're going to start soon.  are the 1" needles you have pretty thin?  what is the gage?  i think the 1 1/4 are 27g.   did you need a Rx for the needles or can you just ask for them from the pharm?

girleegirl.....i agree about the price of the eleotin.  i'm skipping it.  about the needles ......you're right the 1/2 is very short and won't get thru to muscle if you have any amt of fat.  even if you don't' that's pretty short.  they really are meant for insulin sub Q shots but it looks like it works because everyone here (most everyone) is using them.  i have 1 1/4 " but boy they look mean!!!  they're a larger gage needle and it looks like they would hurt so i'll see.   so you're still on the gorge part.  so far that was my favorite part!!  i didn't gain but 4/10 of a pound.  hopefully i'll still lose as rapidly as loo and wfinspector did!

Hi Ub, I'm actually gonna try to find some 1 inch needles, I hate to think of any of this HCG going to waste! I want that sucker IN THERE!!  I actually am on day 4 of phase 2 if you count the gorge days. So this is my 2nd day of the VLCD, not the gorge.  I liked the gorge too! I gained 4 lbs on the gorge but this morning I was down 3.6lbs after only 1 day on the VLCD. Today I am struggling a bit, so freakin hungry, but I'm managing. No fatigue or caffeine withdrawl so that makes me happy. Anyway looks like we are on the same schedule so KIT, would love to compare notes and stay motivated! I need to lose about 35-40 lbs, what about you?

I was wrong mine are 1 1/2 inch... 22G. Just ask for them at the pharmacy. I paid like $5.00 for 30 needles and 30 syringes. I have 25G 1 inch for my b-12 from before. I need to get smaller ones the 22 looks big too.

Well at least with the 25 G 1 inch-  I can inject to the top without pain if I ice first to numb the area. I have at least 2 of those left.

Ub/loo: Girls! eerrgghhh... I'm so confused as for the gorge. I asked a Dr. on a different discussion (who is using the Hcg with a few patients) about 2 days or 3 days on gorge. She said she's doing 2 days- with them as it was the original protocol. She also references several studies. I was reading the KT book and it defiantly says 2 days and I was going to grab my Dr. S paperwork again. How did you decide to do 3 and it must be fine either way. Just look at Linda and her fabulous weight loss.  -

wfinspector -  SRO - Eruaistaniel - lyndamc anyone else past a week... what did you do? for the gorge.. how many days?

No no, my first day on the VLCD was yesterday. I'm confused...seems like some people consider "the gorge" as day 1 (and yes, I pigged out, way more than cake!!! had to have at least one last margarita and chips!!)....yesterday was my FIRST DAY of the VLCD....you know, my first day AFTER the gorge...not sure what to consider day 1 but I consider the  first "dieting" day as day 1...So, I've lost 3.4 lbs my first day but today I am starving...shoulda had another margarita I guess!! i also thought it meant 2 days because he even said gorge from the start of the first inj until the 3rd inj then it's the vlcd.  but look at page 43 of his original book 3rd paragraph under " the first days of treatment" he said "during the second and third day of dieting - that is, the fifth and sixth injection - these minor complaints improve while the weight continues to drop at about double the usually overall average of almost one pound per day, so that a moderately severe case may by the fourth day of  dieting have lost as much as 8-10lbs."  that would indicate a 3 day gorge and that dieting began on the 4th day of the treatment.  it was confusing and my birthday was on sunday so i gorged 3 days (fri-sun).  but i'll tell you , i've been exact and to the letter all of today and i'll be curious to see the scale tomorrow because i don't feel like i've dropped anything except good food!!!
so you have a doc on another forum that chimes in???  what is his/her interpretation of what we're doing?

Can anyone help me, I have been doing a lot of research on Hcg, injection information, read Dr. Simeon's manuscript, etc... But I am still confused on how to correctly fill the syringe, the correct amount of air as explained on another website, etc.... Maybe I am reading more into it than I should, but could someone explain it to me.

Also, I ordered from drugdelivery and have had nothing but delays and excuses. It has taken over two weeks to get the confirmation and tracking that my order shipped. I contacted them as the tracking number doesn't work, was told that that was a UK tracking and that the product was shipping to them from Turkey and then would ship the the US that it can take 7 to 18 days, sure hope so, truly dissapppointed in the delays, reading to do this and move on.

Facial Mask: Indian Healing Clay by Aztec Secret
Eye Cream: Green Tea eye gel by Alba (80% Organic)
All over cream: Rescue Remedy Cream by Bach -  ...even on the face it absorbs well
All over body: Aloe Vera Gelly by Lily of the Desert
Deodorants: By Natures Gate
Use for Face: Skin Eternal Serum by Source Naturals (there is lemon oil & lavender oil in this) So I'd just use a little less lemon during the day.

Second gorge day.  Woke up, emptied my bladder, took off all my clothes, and got on the scale the same way I did yesterday and the scale shows that I've dropped 1/2 pound.  Hmm.  Maybe I didn't eat enough yesterday.  But I did read, in Pounds and Inches, "During the two days of forced feeding from the first to the third injection - many patients are surprised that contrary to their previous experience they do not gain weight and some even lose. The explanation is that in these cases there is a compensatory flow of urine, which drains excessive water from the body. To some extent this seems to be a direct action of HCG, but it may also be due to a higher protein intake, as we know that a protein-deficient diet makes the body retain water."

Yes, purchased all the other products from androusa.com (i think that is their website) they are SSSSUUUPPPEEEERRR fast, I received all that stuff literally two days after placing the order, they sell everything, needles, water, replacement needles, and the sterile bottles. They are fantastic, I highly recommend them to anyone.

I am just ready to start this and get moving, very impatient. Need to get a scale, dreading that moment, but going to do this right, if it kills me. How many people are actually exercising in addition to the diet? Dr. Simeon's doesn't require any that I saw, but I was thinking of walking on my tread mill every day for 30 minutes, as I know muscle weighs more than fat, but want to tone along the way, don't want to add extra weight during the diet.

Well the scale seems to be working today so I'm going to leave him in that spot from now on. It reads 152lbs. that's 28lbs down on my 24th day . . . . you lose so much the first 2 weeks that you don't want it to slow down like it is . . . it freaks you out and you get scared that you aren't going to lose anymore after doing so well initially . . . but everything we've read is coming true so I guess I should have expected this.

Scaredkat: I think it's a very good idea to walk everyday or do some kind of exercise . . . . even if it's just mentally advantageous . . . . . I walk on my treadmill for an hour everyday with weights and the sweating makes me feel better!!

Ub: Good Girl!! 3lbs down and you're on your way! Yeaaaaaa!!!!!!

Wow, 28lbs, in 24days? Thats awesome! Do you count the gorge day as the first day, or the VLCD as the first day? Yesterday was my 2nd day on VLCD and I weighed this morning and it was down .8 of a pound. Kind of discouraging, considering I felt starved yesterday!  So I'm exactly where I was the day I started the gorge. Hmmmm. I hope I have the success you did. I started at 182, after gorge days was up to 186.4, then first day of VLCD down to 182.8 and then this morning 182.  I'm 5'6 and hoping to get down to 150. I was previously very fit/tone, 137lbs, worked out all the time, but 2 years ago I was diagnosed with an auto-immune problem and when I got pregnant I was put on steroids for about  6 months (weighed 220 the day I had my daughter 14 months ago). Just cant get the weight off. I'm hoping the previous steroid stuff isnt going to impede my success. I've just never been the same since--all my other kids I lost the pregnancy weight within 6 months. Strange. Anyway Congrats!

I am 36 and after having my baby 14 months ago, its just been SO MUCH HARDER to lose the weight. With all my boys I lost it...maybe its cuz I had a rotten girl! LOL You are right, boys are much easier, my daughter is awesome but drama QUEEN!! Its all fun and good though...life is good....just gotta keep chuggin along with this weight. Its funny though, my husband and 4 boys (3 of them TEENS, so you know how superficial THEY ARE!) swear to me I dont need to lose any weight and they keep telling me how BAD they feel for me to have to be on this diet (they've seen what I "get" to eat). Funny. Even my hubby NOW tells me I better not get a "weenie butt" like I used to have. I LOVED MY WEENIE BUTT!! Anyway, good to hear from all this AM!

No. I count the first day of the VLCD as my 1st day. I just like you worked out like a feend and nothing . . . I always thought it was something hormonal (now I'm convinced it was.) I too was always fit my whole life but the past 4 years my body betrayed me .. . . I was up to 180lbs with fat in places I never had before and could not get rid of no matter what I did. . . so this is like a miracle for me and it will be for you too!! Be patient and stead fast and it WILL work!!

i'm 5'5" and just turned 44.  i have literally put on 10lbs a year since turning 40.  it gets so much harder.  i used to love to dress up but not lately.  i'm looking forward to shopping again!  what scared me was when i realized i'm within just a few pounds of the weight i was when i had either of my boys.  my oldest is 22 years old.  he weighed 10.8 lbs at birth (i was 22 when i had him) and I was a horse carrying him!!  i could hardly move. i weighed 132 when i got pregnant and 204 at delivery!  not too far from where i am now but no baby (thank god).  my second weighed 8.10 (they've been opposites ever since) and i weighed about 140 when i  got pregnant and just over 200 when i had him too (i was 33 then).  it didn't come off as easy and i really never got down under 150 after that.  but it stayed prety steady.  within 2-7 lbs or so.  the year i turned 40 it got so much harder.  i've always been a healthy eater and watched everything.  my son always said he didn't think i ate enough (he's the food nazi remember) but i just couldn't keep it off.  then i hit a point where i couldn't GET it off.  i think like you loo.......it has to be hormonal.  from the beginning as a teen i had always worried about my weight.  i went through the annorexia (anorexia) and bulemia phases when i was younger and just never thought i was thin enough.  as a teen i was down to 104 lbs for a while and still saw fat (where i'll never know).  i knew as my weight was creeping up as an adult that it wasn't good but i figured i had messed my system up so much as a teen that it was hopeless.  if this works for me it will be a miracle and i will spend the rest of my life telling people who are struggling like us all about it.

Took the first injection this morning. My 4 year old and I went for coffee and donuts :) I don't even feel guilty for having it. So I read and re-read both books last night, than made my husband read. I'm going with 3 days of gorge because of what he said mainly about the person who as yo-yo dieted and they really need to gorge for a week before. That was so not going to happen. I'll be lucky to get through the 3 days.

Yeah! Ub down 3 pounds while sleeping! Linda your really doing so great...how many days are you going to do? You have to stop once you reach 40 inections or  35 - 40 pounds right? How's mom's place doing any bites?

Yesterday, I had 2 pieces of sausage, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast with butter and jam, a little bit of grits, a small piece of a pecan waffle with syrup, and a coke at about 1:00pm.  Then I had a little bit of cabbage soup at about 5:00pm.  Then around 8:30pm, I had a bbq sandwich and a few potato chips with sour cream and onion dip, and a pepsi.  Around 10:00pm I had a donut and some heat peanuts and another pepsi.  Do you all think I ate enough?

You need to get your mind off it. I luckily I have a 4 year old at home to keep me very occupied. The 3 of them keep me so busy I never really ate but dinner anyways...

Like I said to Ub . . you can do anything for a week if you really had to (stand on your head and spit nickles if you had to . . . . and just think how much easier this is then that, right?) I found Stevia at the local grocery store, Frys (or Kroger if you're in the midwest). It is about twice the price of Sweet N Low, tastes about the same, but have to use 2 pkts vs. 1. There are also liquid drops, you can probalby find them at a Whole Foods store, I ordered it once but didn't like it as much. Tasted more chemically than the powder.

Lindaloo--thanks for the encourgement! I've spent years being an avid exerciser who could eat ANYTHING (and did!) and now I"m in reverse mode!

I hope I am using the right kinds of soap.  I've got some Pure Castle Oil Soap, but there may be too much oil in that.  It doesn't leave you with an oiling feeling though.  It just leaves your skin feeling clean.  I used that to wash my hair with and used Ivory soap for my body.  I've got some Nature's Gate shampoo and conditioner, but haven't tried that yet.  What are you all using?

I am only doing parts of Phase 1.  I thought I could do it ALL, Impossible!  Not in the modern world.  My life is toooo hectic.
I am doing all the teas except elotin (to pricey)
No colonix just the colon cleanse.
2 apples & 2 grapefruits a day.
Reverse osmosis water I drink 3/4 - 1 gallon a day.  (I drank a lot of water anyway)
Three Lac twice a day.
I have been weighing my organic chicken & fish 3.5oz lunch & dinner and eating an organic salad or
vegie with it. (no trans fats) 1 organic egg fried in coconut oil for breakfast with a slice of toast.(ezekiel grain sprouted bread, flourless)
Whole Food Supplement, Probiotics, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Cayenne pepper capsule, cinnamon  bark drops, vit. E & omega 3 & digistive enzymes.
Organic brazil nuts for snack
I love to work in my yard so I sweat a lot doing that.
I still use my regular soaps & shampoos.  I use lotion very sparingly.
I probably wont do this for 30 days unless it takes my hcg that long to get here.(20 days & counting)
I have a lot of weight to loss 150lbs would be great!  I am 44 yrs old 5'5 289lbs but I am very muscular and I am very active.
Looks like I will be coming to this forum for a long time!

Hey Girl, well I am almost done with day 3 and the hunger is finally easing...it was pretty bad the last 2 days...I have to say though, I dont feel tired or irritable or weak or anything...I feel totally fine! I am very surprised! And this may sound nuts, but I am SERIOUS...its weird, but I actually feel like my muscles are a little sore...you know, the "good" sore, after you work out. I dont know what that effect is but it is real...I feel it in my legs mostly. I like it!! I've also noticed I've been sweating a bit...very weird since I am usually cold all the time (and I live in ARIZONA!!)  Anyway, good luck on the scale in the AM!! Isn't in funny? On the 40 days, does that include the days our "friend" is in town or are you counting after those days are over? Only injection days, right?

Has anyone completed their 6 weeks after injections? How is that, did you weigh every day like Dr. Simeons requires? Are you eating what you want, except for starches and sugars?

You guys are great!

i think the question scaredkat (me too really) is that you said you counted ALL the days after the gorge as effective days.  even those where there are no shots right?    so on the days we skip for periods we are still supposed to count those as effective days.

pretty good really.  not expecially hungry but by lunchtime i'm sure i'll be looking forward to it!!  i don't think i'll skip more than a couple days on my period.  maybe 3 at the most.  after that it really tapers off anyway and i don't think the hcg stays in the body longer than that.  so 2 days and 4.4lbs down.  i just hope it continues!

This is the morning of my third injection.  Don't know whether to do one more gorge day today or not.  I really put on the feed bag yesterday and gained 3 1/2 pounds over night.  I gained back the 1/2 pound I lost after the first gorge day plus 3 more, so that's 3 pounds since I started.  3 pounds sounds like plenty to have to take back off.  I guess the large weight gain is kinda freaking me out.  If I don't start the diet today, I definitely wont put away the food quite as much as I did yesterday that's for sure.

by ubflossn, Sep 13, 2007 07:01AM
To: eruaistaniel
i did 3 days and i think lindaloo did too.  my gain wasn't as much (i think she gained almost 5lbs) but it came off pretty quickly.  we're supposed to be restocking the normal fat stores that we've depleted by dieting.  at least that's my understanding of the gorge.  it's up to you.  some others have only done 2 days.  look back and see what wfinspector did.  he ended the treatment early.  wonder if that's why?  i don't know.

Ub--Good for you!! Yay!!

Well I'm down 2.2 lbs since yesterday. Yay!!! So after a total of 3 days on VLCD I am 6.6lbs, but I gained 4 on the gorge. Anyway who cares! Its working!!  I hit 179.8 lbs this morning so just being in the 70's thrilled me!! (ok, I'm easily enthused...)

Eru...I did 3 day gorge but I didn't pig out as much on the 3rd day. I gained 4.5lbs on the gorge but here by my 4th VLCD day I've already lost it PLUS another 2+ pounds, so I say enjoy your last day!! I didnt enjoy my gorge days as much as I'd wanted to for "busyness" reasons.

Anyone know if after Phase 2, when we take a break, do we get more GORGE DAYS before we go on the shots again???  I CANT WAIT I CANT WAIT I CANT WAIT!!  lol

by ubflossn, Sep 13, 2007 11:22AM
To: girlee
well after the phase 2 we have 3 weeks of anything we want except sugar and starches.  no calorie limits but food choices need to be good. we have to weigh each day and if more than 2 lbs are gained.  they say it takes about 3 weeks before the "new normal" weight becomes stable, ie doesn't flux after an occasional excess.   as long as the wt doesn't exceed 2lbs we're ok but if more than that we have a "punishment day"  that is skip breakfast and lunch but take in plenty of liquids.   in the evening eat a huge steak with only an apple or raw tomato.  that should budge the scale the next day.   i think moderation is going to be the key in the 3 week prior to this vlcd to keep things stable until it becomes our new "norm".

Ub: yea trying to.... but it's making me feel gross and I could puke at any moment. I don't eat like this. You my friend need to keep positive don't let any negative get into your head YOU CAN AND WILL KEEP losing! Keep that picture close that you want to get to..... You’re losing weight while you sleep... :) it'll keep coming off everyday too.

All: I went and got my shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, face cleanser and body soap at Whole foods last night. Talked to the butcher and they had grass fed London broil. And in a pretty big piece of meat he said it was only 2 - 3 % fat so if I weight that out to 100 grams I should be doing good for fat content. They were out of the Sea bass till Monday. (Which is a high fat content) go figure how they figure what we can have or not..

well its day 4 of VLCD and I wanted to tell you guys that are still on the gorge...its really getting better! I was really hungry yesterday but I am totally fine today. The most impressive thing is that it is true...you acutally have NO CRAVINGS! And no feelings of withdrawl. Its weird! I acutally would LOVE a cup of coffee, but I know its not a craving, its just, I love my morning cup and I've been drinking it DAILY for 10 years. I'm not a skeptic but I really am shocked that everything KT and Dr. S said would happen, is happening! I feel totally motivated now, knowing I can "diet" and still feel this good!

Those of you on week 2+--how did you switch up your meat servings? I'm doing chicken every meal this first week, its getting kind of boring but....I am following Simeons exactly so the whole this is kinda boring, have any of you modified at all? I basically do strawberries or apples, cucs or tomatoes, and the chicken. I think I am doing it right!

Hey Mama: I know, I felt gross too  . . . doing the gorge, but don't worry it comes right off. I totaly look at it like war, and it's really helping me do what I have to do everyday. Like when I don't want to get on the freakin treadmill I just say to myself . . . do it or die  and that makes it much easier and without another thought. I figure taking injections of anything is pretty radical so I'm going to make this work if it kills me, ya know what I mean? I must say having the momentum slow down to  a 1/2 lb or no loss each day, lately, is very disheartening but it makes me work harder to get it back moving again. I really hope it keeps working for me . . .

I know, I thought the sea bass had a high fat content . . . but it's such a small portion that I guess it's ok (it comes out to like 3 tablespoons full when cooked)

Thanks Mama, the broker was very positive and she is going to bring her clients on Sunday. I'm gonna give it another 2 weeks and if nothing happens, we'll give it to a broker and put it on the MLS . . . . got to get out of here before the snow comes!! Lindaloo, Maybe your weight loss is slowing down because you are nearing the end of your abnormal fat? Dr. S said something about that, if it slows down alot and you still have abnormal fat then your body may have biult up a small tolerance to the hcg.. Hoping for a BIG loss for you tomarrow!

Girleegirl71: I havent started yet, (tomarrow is my first gorging day) I thought the same thing about the big friday shot, am i gonna be starving all weekend? maybe we should try calling and see if they reccomend doing half the shot on fri and the other half on sat. After all, Dr. S only suggested taking sundays off, not sat and sunday. If you find out anything i'd love to hear it!

Happy weighing tomarrow all!

I feel totally sick too.  I feel like puking.  I've never been so tired of eating in a long time.  I haven't been able to find the Skin Eternal Serum by Source Naturals yet.  I'll try to find it at Earth Fare the next time I get to Knoxville.

Hi M, well when I spoke with Brock from NHW initially she said they send the big shot so we dont have to "worry" about taking it at the right time on the weekends. But I guess I"ll try doing it the NHW way this first weekend and see how I feel.

So tomorrow is your gorge day! Enjoy!! How much weight are you wanting to lose?

Starting tomorrow with 1st inj!!! So excited! Anyone find a shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, facial cleanser that are oil free and ph balanced? I did find a moisturizer at the health food store NaPCA if anyone is wondering.
Thanks! This is a great blog!

I have to ask if this is only me and my mother. The injections sting to high heaven why didnt anyone mention this, is this something unusual or is it us just being super sensitive?

by mresearcher, Sep 13, 2007 09:08PM
To: barbie
i havent started yet im sorry i dont know, but i heard you have to let the alcohol dry first before injecting. also it helps if you numb the area with an ice cube.. hope this helps!

by ubflossn, Sep 13, 2007 09:15PM
To: barbie
if you let the syringe warm up a bit and inject very slowly it should be much better.  i get the least tissue reaction from inj into the upper arm.

I found that they sting also...I called my clinic that sent them to me and she said it was normal, and that I should take it out of the fridge 15 minutes before I inject to ease some of the chill...that seems to have helped.

Yeah I know the coffee is on the plan but its black..yuk! I like mine with lots of milk and sugar!! Its funny but my morning pot of coffee is the only thing I even miss! I think its my comfort food and I didn't even know it. (and i dont miss it physically, i miss it mentally. weird)

I wanted to let you know that today was my day 4 on VLCD and it was a piece of cake. I was hardly hungry at all. So it DOES get better, yay!!

Isnt it funny how exciting it is to go to bed knowing you're gonna get a Christmas present the next morning? Thats how I keep myself psyched. This diet is very motivating!  (I also remind myself that if I DO cheat, I will actually GAIN weight, since the HCG=Calories per day. That really keeps me from nibbling even a little bit!)

by ItalianMama3, Sep 13, 2007 11:34PM
To: angiecat
If you’re wiping with an alcohol wipe first, make sure to let it dry on the skin before the injection.

I'm not getting a sting and this works for me you could maybe try it. I get the injection ready and I go back upstairs brush my teeth etc. by the time I come back to it, it's probably closer to room temp and I ice my injection spot for a few minutes. I inject the whole needle to the top (1") and I can't feel anything. I feel it after I stand up maybe a few minutes later but it doesn't hurt at all.

Good luck to you and your mother!

well no christmas present today.  no drop at all!!  i'm bummed.   my tummy growled all night last night so i went to bed early to help ignore it.  i'm having a problem with elimination.  maybe that's why no change today???

well today's the day i'm supposed to skip my ijn.  should i?  i'm due for my period next weekend so i'll be off for at least 3 days then.

itmama........how's the feasting going???

by SELMO, Sep 14, 2007 06:48AM
hi people, i'm ron and i started the hcg diet 6 days ago and have lost 15 lbs.  6'2" 272 to 257, although i do get hungry.   i am sticking to the program without cheating and taking the hcg sub-q.   i wonder if the intermusc shots would work better for controlling the hunger.  on 500 cal's a day i know i will continue to lose weight, but i dont want to suffer though always being hungry.  i have not had a ton of energy to do much either.  any feedback would be appreciated.  thanks, ron  and 1 more question.  are we supposed to eat anything for breakfast or just drink coffee or tea.????

by ubflossn, Sep 14, 2007 07:46AM
To: selmo
no breakfast although i do take my apple for lunch and have it midmorning because i've been pretty hungry at that time.  since i eat dinner about 5 or so but 9 or 10 the next morning i'm really feelin it!  where did you get your products and are you skipping a day a week?

by Lindaloo, Sep 14, 2007 08:42AM

Mama:  Scale's working now that I left him alone in one spot . . . down 1 lb. this morning sooooooo 151lbs., down 29lbs on day #26. Are you feasting today? Thanks for visiting my ebay store!!

Ub: Try eating a bag of organic steamed spinach for your veggie . . . that helps with elimination. I use the Colonix from Dr. Natura but not sure if we should use that during phase 2, it has 42 calories a scoop . . .. but boy does that stuff work. I too was having trouble eliminating (as you so eloquently put it) so I did one enema week one and two. I know it sounds gross but I'm use to them . . . had a constipation problem in my earlier years. It does make you feel better when it's over. As far as skipping, I don't know . . . just follow your rules to the letter!!

Selmo: Ron you're doing great!! I had bouts of tiredness too. But you're a big guy and 500 cal no matter how you look at it is probably going to make you a little tired. Keep up the good work and sorry no breakfast (but have your apple early like Ub suggested)

Mresearcher: Today you're first shot??? Good luck darlin!!! Pig out for the rest of us!! Make sure you have some pasta for me (with meatballs and lots of cheese)!! I hope I haven't developed any imunity to the hcg yet, I've got more to lose!!

you are doing so great!!!  you're almost into another number sequence too!!  i think i'll see a change tomorrow even though i didn't today.  i've not cheated not one time so it's probably just water.  i told you i could flux as much as 3lbs a day so at least i'm not going up.  one more day on this and i'm sure the scale will move.......maybe a couple pounds even.   i'm due for my period next week so that could play a part.  it's not expected until sat but i can be early or late and it wouldn't surprise me.  usually the 7-10 days before i do notice some retention so i'm going to keep plugging along and it will be fine.  i'm heading out on my hour drive to the organic market to stock up!  it's my day off so i've treadmilled, bathed and i'm heading out for a great day!!!!   i really do feel pretty good today!!!

Hey guys, it's been a few days.  I am on day 4 for inj., just starting VLCD today.  I don't expect much in the way of hunger as I am a starvation junky!  I have become accustome to 600 cals/days for some time.  That being said, the reason I wanted to do this is not bcause I have a lot of weight to lose, but for the re-sculpting aspect of it.
Now to the nitty gritty....the gorge was gross!  I hear the pukers.  I had to force myself to eat everyday and it was hard.

Weighed and measured myself the morning of 1st inj.( 9/11) 136 lbs (I'm 5'6").  and I marked my body w/permanant magic marker so I know I am measuring in the same place all the time.  I gained 2lbs in 2days on gorge.  Gorged for 3 but dropped 1 over nigh?  I think much is urine output.  It's like I'm pregnant again BC I'm actually drinking what I should be.

That all being said....Weighed again this AM 137 (the pnd I lost which I should have gained because of gorge).  Not hungry yet drinking my tea.  My measurments were a bit shocking though.  I measure my belly in 2 places.  One @ the belly button and one 1" below BB.  That is the widest part of my "backfat/muffin top" as I call it.  This AM I am down 1/4" in both of those measurements and shockingly 1 1/2" in upper thigh (the jiggle) and 1/4" in my quad 6" above my knee.  Don't know why I've lost when I should have blown up on gorge.

I'll keep you all posted....I am following  "S" and his diet protocol.  I'll keep you guys posted after weigh in  in the morning.  That will be a full 24 hrs. of VLCD.

Hey Guys

Well I am bummed too..Ub, Santa didn't come to my house eithr, I only lost .2lbs overnight..2/10! What the heck? I too am following to the letter. I think you and I are one day apart from our starting day so thats interesting! I too haven't eliminated but once this week...hopefully that makes a difference and when we "go" we'll lose some poundage!

Oddly enough, I didnt get but maybe 4-5 hours sleep last ngiht, my baby was up a lot of the night fussy. I wonder if sleeping uninterrupted for 7-8 hours really DOES make a difference? Any thoughts?

Loo--yay! Good for you!! So are you saying you've lost 15 or 29 lbs in 26 days? Are there days in the beginning of the Phase 2 that are like mine and ubs? with NO loss? did that happen to you too?

Ron, welcome!  Gosh you are doing GREAT! I originally got the sub-Q needles also but I switched upt o 1 1/4 inch. I feel more reassured knowing its getting INTO the muscle like Dr. S indicated. Not sure where you can get them (I get mine from work) but I'm sure there's a previous post about it.

Gorge Girls....I envy you guys....!!! Enjoy your day!!

I'm gonna try not to be too bummed today and all the encouragement from you guys is  great. Ub, we'll get through this!!

Im sorry to hear about your scale this morning, if your having trouble eliminating try using Dr. Schulze intestinal formula 1. Its fantastic! i take 1 every night after dinner. It will keep you regular and also ensure that you eliminate ALOT every morning, right before getting on the scale! I highly reccomend it.

Good Morning

I'm curiuos why you are doing the injections...at 5'6 and 136 lbs you are probalby even a little UNDERweight. I too am 5'6 and was EXACTLY 137 lbs just 2 years ago and I was at  my most fit ever, looked and felt great (although my hubby and kids thought I was too skinny--"anorexic" they even say)...I did work out though like 4 days/week with weights so I was tone with muscle..have you tried that? I AM NOT JUDGING YOU, just worried that this might not be safe for someone with such minimal loss needed? Well anyway good luck!

read my post to ub, you've got to try the intestinal formula i promise it wont let you down! you should be eliminating 2 times per day! good luck, i know you can continue to lose!

Ub: You know what, there's a lot of adjustments that your body has to make so just keep positive and let your body get use to this new regime.

Girlee:  That's 29lbs down in 26 days!! I know that's still good but you can get very sad in week 3 when the weight loss slows down . . . . No Girlee,  week one and two, for me, were miraculous . . .  I was dropping 2lbs a day . . .  but don't worry, just be diligent and steadfast and it will start to fly off!! Got a ton of errands today so . . . have a good day everyone and I'll check in later!!

I've used that . . . It's very powerful . . .  be careful!! I've heard it strips your intestines of a lot of what it needs . . . you use it all the time M?

thanks for the concern.  I too exercise 4-5 days per wk.  I run 30 min. daily and weight train 3-4 x wk.  I wear a sz 6 and by no means need  to lose alot if any.  Problem is....3 babies later and the fat deposits that I can not get off drive me insane!  The muffin top is the worst for me.  I look like what I call block body because it sticks out 2" further than my waist.  It's sick!  I know to many that have more to lose it sounds crazy, but this is the last draw before the Lipo...now that's drastic.  I work in the med. field and have a very good handle on health, more than most.  Anyone, maybe yourself included, who has had babies, can tell you that they change your body.  That's ok they are well worth it.  I sacrificed my boobs, but they can't have my waist too!  I didn't even gain that much w/ preg.  no more than 28lbs but I think it all went on the shelf around my waist.

I don't think I will be able to sustain even a full 23day cycle because I have 15 lbs or less to lose.  We'll see.  But thanks for the concern.  I have a wonderful family who keep each other in check and my mom who is RN and brother in law is my OBGYN are all on board and scrupulously watching my every move.  Thanks for having my back too.

keep you posted

Great that you have so much support...good luck!! I too have had 4 kids (and miscarried twins 2years ago...which is when I put on all this weight!)...they do change your body! And 3 of mine were c-sections. Anyway I guess that just must be where you carry excess weight..interesting! I've got the hip action going on BIG TIME (tiny waist, birth giving hips!)

Well keep us posted and I think you are probably gonna have amazing results quickly!

Oh, and then instead of lipo, you can get a boob job!!  lol

ok, maybe I'm a moron but I dont see where you say you got the Dr. Shulze to ubflossn. Anyway I looked it up on both ebay and the internet, it says there is a Formula 1 and a Formula 2. Do you do both? Or just the capsules? Sorry to focus on this but I have always had serious constipation, and Dr. Natura is good but pricey.

so sorry to hear about your twins....

I have been told by my OBGYN/brother in law that the back fat is a source for maternal fat storage in anticipation of nursing a baby.  I nursed all 3 for 11 - 12 months and it apparently was never tapped!  I'm sure you'll do great.  At least your thighs and legs are tone-able(if that's a word).

As far as the boob job.  I have joked w/my husband...he of course says yes so long as he can help pick them out!  they never stop...the obsession continues!
