hcg for postmenopausal weight gain

I lost alot of weight rather quickly with the Atkins diet and I kept the weight off for YEARS.  I really felt good for a long time--about 6 years at least.  Then, along came the unavoidable menopausal weight gain.  And, boy, does that put the pounds on FAST.  On top of that, I now have my mother living with me again--she is almost blind, has colon cancer and, I believe, bipolar (there's no convincing her of that).   So, along came the additional weight gain from the stress of having her here.  I am very interested in giving the hcg diet a try with hcg drops.  Has anyone had any success with "real" hcg drops, not the homeopathic.  I am specifically interested if anyone menopausal or post-menopausal has had any success.  Thanks
