I just started the shots today, however I am giving notice to my current employer....two weeks notice. I am aware they will be taking me out on my last day. What will happen if I cheat?
If I don't take the shot that day and start right back up the next day, will everything be right back on track? Will it take a few days to get back on track? I'm wondering if it's even worth it to cheat, but I don't want to have to explain to everyone why I don't want to eat out. Any suggestions??
I started the shots last Friday and lost 8 lbs by the end of my 6th day on the program. I have not cheated but am travelling out of town tonight and am bringing my scale with me to keep weighing. I am bringing with me my organic meats and vegetablesVegetable laxative to prepare while I'm away. In reading the Simeon's manuscript, please refer to the section FAULTY DIETINGLosing weight Yo-yo dieting. He explains a scenario here about your similar situation. However, I did speak with my Medical Supervisor about the situation and she informed me to stay as close to the 500 c diet and eat smart (Start with a salad (no dressing) and eat about 1/3 of what's on your plate). Stay away from sugar and starches. I will still be travelling over the weekend and plan to follow the protocol while I'm away. I will let you know how I do with any changes in my weightloss after the weekend is over.
P.S. I was informed by my Medical Professional not to stop the shots. But I am only concerned about the one meal and not a whole weekend of going off the plan.
i would think that cheating on hcg would be the same as cheating on any diet. BAD! lol
dont worry i am no saint here lol. I have one cheat day a month. I have to or I would go insane and eat the kitchen table I think. I have two slices of sausage and peppers pizza and a LARGE NONDIET soda! wowowow!! lmao but hey, its my cheat day and I will eat anything I want. LOL and its also the one day I am smiling and feel good enough to go to the park. so i wont give away my cheat day!!!!! nevah!
Are you taking Hcg? If so, how do these cheat days affect your loss? I'm planning a cheat day on the 4th of July...I assume I might gain a lb or two and also be set back a few days in losing it. But as you say if I dont' cheat after 25 days of being almost perfectPerfect choice I'll lose it !

Nope, not taking it - YET!! lol
I am planning on it I think, I dont know. I have an appointment with my own doctor on MOnday , wel thats tomorrow, so I am going to ask and see what happens. The only thing I know for sure at this point is that its not covered by my insurance because fertility drugs arent either, and its the same thing. HCG!!! So...I know this will cost me cash. That doesnt have me worried toooo much, becuase you cant put a price on being thin of course.
I already pay for a gym I go to even tho I have 4 , yes 4 ,exercise machines at home. So i might not be the smartest when it comes to money but I know I dont want to be fat anymore.
As for my cheat days, its actually what my doctor told me to do. She said that if you diet for too long, you start to "get cabin fever" if you know what I mean. so I give myself a treat or cheat day once a month. its only one day, and what i eat whatever I crave even though is fattening, it isnt THAT bad being only once a month. not like you will set back that much.Logically speaking, it just cant. But i will be honest, my last cheat day, the only thing i had was pizza slices and a soda, and thats all I ate the whole day. but OMG it was SOOOO good. LOL

but just remember, i have been eating 1000 calories a day for 7 months, not like the 500 calories for 8 weeks thing and all I do is work out, not take any drugs. so I needed that cheat day. so I am not sure if I am helping what you asked or not.
That is exactly what the doc said today. =( They are putting me on a glycemic (spelling?) diet. Which uses certain foods I think to enhance the metabolism or someting like that, i forget how he explained it, Im sorry. It was alot of info to take in at once so I dont remember all he said but I have the paperwork the nutritionist gave me of meals to eat. which is all I need actually. Its not actually a diet how people use the word I think but more of a way of eating. if that makes sense.
he also changed my work out routine!!! omg!!!! lol but he has me doing upper/cardio, then lower/cardio alternating each day. and two days of only cardio and one day off. My day of rest lol - where I was doing everything all at once 4 times a week. and nothing for 3. so even tho i will be at the gym more often, its less time there each visit. Oh and apparently I am fat in a good way which made me laugh. I have fat all over evenly distributed and not in one place like my gut or booty. oh and its soft fat, the best kind. I had no idea there was a good way to be fat LOL
all in all I am happy wtih the info I got and looking forward to seeing changes.
hmm..shocked are we..Fightu knows a thing or 2.. the glycemic diet is good...but dont get to nutty with it...any help just ask..i know all about it..and the g;ycemic index...good luck !
SO far so good for me. I eat alot more than I did before or atleast it feels like it. I am taking in less calories, but eating more food. ( it didnt make sense to me at first, but I am slowly getting it) Anyhow, first few days arent bad.
Although I a not going anywhere NEAR that scale until next week because I will be obssessed if I do.
what will happen is, that you will gain some pounds. Will throw you back a couple of days. Stay on the shots though. If you want to do it without gaining, you have to stop the shots 3 days before the big day, stay on 500 cal those days and restart the programm afterwards. Those are your options.
I would recommend that you don't do the injection that day.
