phentermine?

i was taking phentermine that was prescribed through my regular doctor. i started to notice that something was not right about my eye sight. at the time thought i needed to get my eyes check and new glasses. i went to my regular doctor so can get weighed and check my bloodpressure. my bloodpressure was very high. my doctor told me that i needed to stop taking phentermine because it is causing my bloodpressure to be like this. he did bloodwork and ekg and everything turned out okay. i went to have my eyes checked and that is when i found out how bad things are with my eye sight. when i went into the examination. my right eye was covered i couldnt see out of my left eye. i can see light or movement but couldnt read anything. i found out i have an eye disease called Keratoconus which i never knew i had. was told got it in my teens or 20's. i have the eye disease very bad in my left eye. with the eye disease you have double vision and not being able to see out of one or both your eyes which i have. i feel that the med made the eye disease progress but do not know if there is away to prove that. i have tried doing hard contact lenses which should help with the eye sight but it didnt so now need to see a neurologist to find out what else is going on other than just the eye disease. i am wanting to know has anybody else had health problems caused by phentermine? if so please respond and let me know what this drug has to you?

I used  phentermine and disliked the side effects. I could not fall into a deep sleep and when I did sleep, I felt I got no rest. The drug made me depressed as well. It was not worth it in my opinion. My doc said it was very addictive, so I stopped taking it.

I just took phentermine an hour ago for the first t ime prescribed by my doctor and am having the same problem right now. My eyes went  wacky so I got online to research before I go to doctor. I can cover my right eye any my left eye looks like everything is an aura. My right is ok though. Thanks for posting this.
