tampa fl weight loss clinic--anyone know anything about these shots they give

I just went to a weight loss Dr. and they give a shake--loaded with vit. and give a b12 injection, also give another injection--i dont remember the name but it apparently aides in weight loss--my friend did this and lost 40 lbs in 4 months--and ate very healthy and feels great--does anyone have any info please on these shots?  do they really help--i have gained 40 lbs after being on lexapro for 2 years and am now taking seredyn which is suppose to be a healthier way to help with anxiety--but i really want to get this "lexapro-weight" off

The other injection was either lipotropics or hcg. They both aid in weight loss. I have done the hcg, but not the other. I have lost 38 pounds since October.
