daily / weekly weighing

I am going to give weekly weighing a go -  well actually twice a week - Wednesday and Sunday so I can participate in teh sunday Weigh in thread...lol.

Hey guys n gals My name is Zilly and im new to medhelp but I am loving it so far. I Started my weightloss journey April 1st of this year and am down 27 lbs. I still have 100 lbs to go and Im doing good but I am dealing with an abscessed tooth at the moment ;( . Anyway, just wanted to intro myself!

I am really struggling not weighing daily - I feel out of control and am convinced I will be 10lb heavier when I step on the scales tomorrow.

yep I get out of bed, go for a wee, step on the scale -  its a kinda ritual lol.

Good luck with the adjustment. I apologize if you have mentioned this before, but are you weighing at the same time of the day? I always weigh in the morning before breakfast. If I step on the scale later the same day it can be a 2-3 pound increase.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing but not sure if I will. We'll see. Maybe I'll wait to see if you like it, of coarse I could do it and go back if I don't like it.

Changed my chart to reflect twice weekly weighing and I feel much more motivated by it -  scrapped the monthly target line too and have returned to a final target goal date of 18th october - my 38th birthday.
