Abortion :-(

This is a tough question for me to post. I had an abortion on December 8th. My normal period started on November 20I guess that was my last period. I was wondering if your cycle remains the same and I should get a period January or close to it. The abortion was. HUGE mistake none the less it happened. Just not sure when I should expect my next period. Any info would be appreciated. Also when will be my fertile days.

Hello All,

I feel guilty after I read those stories. I found myself pregnant one month before I turned 28, and chose a medical abortion due to family issues. I started bleeding from 18th June, and didn't stop bleeding even after 6weeks. I went back to see the doctor, it wasn't a complete abortion. So I was scheduled to have a D&C on 27th, and bleeding ceased a week later. I don't know if my first period came during that 6weeks bleeding. I did ovulation test yesterday and today, they both showing low.  I decided to take the pill, but then pharmacist suggest I should wait until my first period, considering I don't even know if my first one has come or not.  I

I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but now you have to keep moving and looking forward.
You will have to wait until your period comes back to normal. It could take one to two cycles. After that, it will be easier to tract what your cycle is.
Give your body time to heal... It could take another week or two for it to come and another cycle to calculate better how your cycle is (most fertile, less fertile days, etc...)
