Abortions. :(

Anyone have an abortion and regret it or vice-versa? I am 17+4 with my first and honestly wish I would have gotten an abortion but its almost too late now and I don't have $1000+ for it. :(

I do see this happen way too often. The boyfriend can leave any time he wants to. You did'nt make this baby all by yourself. He has a responsibility to this baby too.
I have 3 nephews that have 10 children between them. Not one of the boys is still with any of the mothers. It makes me very shamed of them. I do have to admit that 2 of them are good fathers and are there for their children. The other one is not.
I do hope things get better for you and your boyfriend starts being more supportive.

Finances are not an issue. I am not excited about this pregnancy because I am afraid that I am going to end up being a single mother and it is just too emotionally hard for me to handle I guess. :/ My bf said if I was indeed pregnant, that he would be here for both of us 100%. But now it seems like he's getting really distant. Idk. It's a long story..

It's your choice what you want to do. You can always do a closed adoption. I won't lie and tell you that it will be easy to raise a baby. They need and deserve all of your time, they cry, need diaper changes, food, clothes, medical care. It sounds like you may already be struggling financially. Do you know why your not excited about this pregnancy?

I don't feel like I can do adoption because I changed my whole lifestyle for this baby and gone through so much, and after carrying it for so long I just don't think I can give it away to strangers. And with an open adoption, I have seen my mom go through it with my sister and it was heartbreaking to see how sad my mom would be when my sister started calling the other woman "mom"... :( I felt like abortion was the right choice for me but no one supports my decision and I don't have the money or transportation, plus my bf has already told his whole family and I told mine and everyone is all so excited. :( Except me....

I really don't have any experience with this other than knowing a few women who have had it done. At 4 months you would be 16 weeks, right? Have you thought about adoption? There are so many wonderful couples that would love to raise a baby. You can even have an open adoption if you want to. That way you can still be in the child's life. I think this is your choice but you are pretty far along. You're right, it is expensive and not like a regular abortion from what I've heard. If you decide this is what you're going to do you really should try to do it very soon. Please do think about adoption. Being a teen mom can be so very hard.
