I'm really freaking out and need advice. ><

I'm an 18 year old girl, in England, and my period is 3 days late, so I'm a little worried, but it's not always super on time, so usually it wouldn't be a big deal, but this feels different. I've been feeling really weird and dizzy since yesterday, as well as light headed and nauseous. My back started hurting Tuesday afternoon, and my tummy has been feeling kinda icky since yesterday, especially when I hold it in. I had quite a bit of discharge on Friday and tiniest amount of spotting today.

I took a pregnancy test on the 1st day of my missed period, and again today, and they have both been negative. I haven't had proper sex with my boyfriend since the 17th, and we're always careful and use a condom, however we 69'd on Wednesday, and didn't use one.

Also, I gave blood for the first time on Wednesday, and felt fine immediately afterwards, however felt dizzy and light headed about half an hour afterwards.

I also started taking natural herbal supplements to help with my metabolism, yesterday.

As well as this, I have been kinda stressed lately, due to awaiting exam results and applying for university, which usually makes my periods quite weird but not normal quite this late.

Basically, I'm freaking out in case I'm pregnant (I'm about to go to university and although I know I would definitely have an abortion, I'd still rather not have to aha), and could really use some advice and reassurance etc right now. Also, I wouldn't ever change my mind about the abortion aha; I'm just too immature and selfish, and I need to put education and a career first, and I don't even know if I want kids ever yet aha.

I also agree. It's her life and she's trying not to get pregnant because of her education and future. In my opinion, no woman should be made to feel guilty because they're not ready for a baby. She is being responsible and using protection
I also agree with Specialmom that many things can be causing her period to be late.

By the way, this is not just an "app" ladies but a full web site that the app feeds into.  Things do sometimes get posted on the wrong forum and the moderators then move the post.  It's good to have a place to come and ask questions and that is what Med Help is for.  I'm so glad we are here to support those who  need help!

Hi there.  It's okay to not want kids.  I have dear friends that are very career minded that do not feel kids would fit their lifestyle.  I also know young woman working so hard in college who accidentally get pregnant and then must think about their options.  And they do have options to choose from and a woman needs to do what is best for her.  :>)

So, you are late with your period but you do mention many things that could make a period late.  Changes in routine, stress, the new nutritional product you've been trying, etc.

If you've taken a test and it is past when your period is due and it was negative---  it is unlikely you are pregnant.  Very few false negatives happen with those accurate home tests.  But, it CAN happen. So, if your period does not show, I'd see your doctor.  If you are in college, you can probably see the school clinic for help.

Let me know if I can help in any other way dear.

I really am serious, and I don't sleep around; I've only ever had one boyfriend, and he's the only person I've ever slept with. I've never freaked out this much, please help me.
