I think it's illegal in most countries to have a late term abortion. 19 is a late term.

I don't think we have any idea what a fetus can and can not feel.  No proof to a baby feeling it.  There is also great debate as to when a fetus is a child.  

No one should feel guilty for having an abortion and as long as the laws are followed in one's state, it is a viable option available to women who do not want to have a baby or go through child birth.  

I do agree, however, that adoption can be a wonderful thing for all concerned and is also a good option.  

Every woman must make the best choice for themselves and their lives.  good luck to the poster in doing that.

I would recomend adoption. There are so many families out there that would love to have kids but sadly can't. Plus it gives the baby a chance to live. You have to think about the life of an innocent child that you would be takeing away. And just a little fact no matter how far along you are the baby can feel it.

Yes, double check your state laws or in states around you if you are close enough to go to another state.  Some states have the time frame at 20 weeks.  But it is much different of a procedure then than when it happens in the first trimester.  no, it's not 12 weeks ---  first trimester is 13 weeks and most states have that as their minimum.  Many will perform abortions up to 16 weeks and some states have it to 20.  But again, state dependent so you need to call the clinics in your area and see what the policies are.  

I also would look into your other options such as adoption.  That can really be a win win for all.  you are not ready to have a child so you are then not in a position to have to raise a baby while at the same time a couple gets the wonderful gift of a child they can't have on their own.  It's really a beautiful thing.  You can contact a lawyer specializing in adoption or a place like Catholic Social Services which both will help you with the process.  You would most likely even have a say in who the couple would be!  

abortion is a legal and viable option for people in a situation in which they do not want to have a child.  In your situation though, you will have to see if it is too late.

I'm not sure if this is real or not, but I feel like you might be asking the wrong people. It all depends on where you live and the laws, so none of us could really tell you if it's too late for you to. But if you're planing on getting one, I would look it up and find out before hand that way you know. If it's too late, then like a lot of wemon have said there is adoption. Or you could even choose to keep it. But honestly none of us could tell you the laws on where you live about abortion. You can try to google the laws of your state to see for sure. But on this form with a comment like this, you're just going to continue to get comments like you are in which are going to make your desision harder. Do what you think you can handle and what you feel is best. But never rule out any other choice too soon is all. Good luck and best wishes to you.

It doesn't matter what situation someone's in really killing a baby isn't something to even think of turning to... Wether they are an adult or a little baby they feel the same pain.. And they don't deserve it . There's starting to get big and hear and breath, if they don't want it then give it up for adoption where the baby has a nice life.. That's just my opinion

I just found out I'm pregnant.
If you have unprotected sex, you will get pregnant. Why make the baby suffer because you didn't take precortions. I think you should have the baby and adopt it out. Its a life now.

aww that is really sad to me! honestly i dont think abortions should be available to people like you who want to wait until so late in the pregnancy but then again it makes me wonder what those people do to the baby once it is here and they still dont want it... i mean in one week you can go find out what you are having...its a little person just waiting to grow bigger to be born ugh so so sad

I suggest you call the clinic and ask. Where I live you can have an abortion in the second trimester. They'll tell you everything you need to know.

You can get one up until 18 to 20 weeks. It's a 2 day process.  Just do it already stop wasting time if that's what you really want

If you didn't want the baby, you should have made that decision awhile ago. Now, you will either have to be a mother or you can do adoption.

I think it depends on which state you live in (if you live in america) But normally 15 weeks is to late. Most terminations are preformed around 6-12 weeks. 15 weeks is considered your second trimester.
