after a c-section

when can i get pregnant after a c-section?

i think you at least leave a year  ,, for your own sake as well ,, iv had three sections ,, two  emergencys , they say u have to go for a third section , if you ,ve had two prior ,, thier two and half years between mine ,, just the way it happened ,, doctors also say you should,nt have any more than three sections ,, ,, some people go beyond ,, this ,, im also an older mother  ,, the first six weeks they tell you to take plenty of rest and go easy on the lifting ,, and i think you cant drive for a few weeks  ,, my advise is to really take care of your self ,, and enjoy this time with your baby ,, time goes so fast and the year will be over before you know it ,, keep an eye on your scar also ,, from section,,wecome to mother hood ,,

I agree, as long as possible. But its said the average waiting time is about 18 months to 24 months, but thats also said for vaginal births. I think its mostly depends on how your last pregnancy was, difficulties and talking to your doctor about what he thinks would be the best amount of time.
