Do you have any other symptoms of pregnancy?  Abdominal pain?  Breast tenderness?  Nausea/vomitting?  Etc...
It is possible that you have PCOS and it is throwing things off.  Changes in diet, medication, stress levels, etc. can also cause changes to your periods.

haha I am definitely not having menopause since im only 21. and i did the test about 2 or 3 months after having a few short periods. and im a pretty thin person, not supper skinny but average size i guess, so Im kinda confused, cause i think i could see a stomach if i was really pregnant. I wish i knew what was going on without going to the DR and having to pay for lab work.

How old are you?  If nearing menopause age, it is possible that your hormones are just adjusting.  If you are under a lot of stress, that can change things up as well.  It is also possible that you are pregnant.  How many days after your last NORMAL period did you do the test?  It may have just been too early to tell or you may be one of those rare people who can be eight months pregnant and have a negative urine test.  I would do another test.  If it is negative, I would have a blood test done.  They are more accurate than the urine ones.  If they are both negative, I would talk to my doctor about having some other labs done to see what is going on.
