Hey I'm 17 weeks pregnant. Through out the whole pregnancy I have had a mucoid discharge. Doc said it was normal until the nite before thanksgiving when I had to go to the ER cause the mucous became bloody. Doc thought I was losing my mucous plug. Was on bed rest for a week and doc said everything was fine and to resume normal activity. Well, the mucous has started again, clear this time, but there is so much of it. I don't remember anything like this with baby #1. Anyone else experience this or have any idea what it is? With baby #1 I had a whitish discharge throughout the whole pregnancy. Thanks everyone.
During at least two of my four pregnancies I had a discharge like that on and off throughout the pregnancy. It never got blood-tinged or anything, but it did keep appearing. My doc was never concerned about it, so that helped keep me from worrying about it. All four pregnancies were fine and the children were all healthy.
