18 weeks, hardly showing...when did you 'POP'?

i was just wondering when all you who are pregnant REALLY started to show? im almost 18 weeks pregnant and im hardly showing AT ALL!!! i know everyone is different, and this IS my first...i just thought id be showing a lot more! i kind of pooched out a little at about 9 or 10 weeks, and my waist is a little thicker(some of pants dont fit anymore) but i DONT need maternity clothes yet...ive been so paranoid about this pregnancy...its driving me crazy!!! im sure everything is fine with the baby..as far as its development, but i freak out easily. so im looking for some reassurance that ill start to 'POP' pretty soon...

I didn't show until I was 6 months pregnant. Everyone thought I was going to have a small baby but he was perfectly fine at 7 1bs. I showed a lot at the end but it took a while to get there!

i stayed a size 6/7 my whole pregnancy... i didnt really show until i was nearly 6 months. if you're tall like me, then it takes longer because we have more room.

I didn't wear maternity clothes until almost my 7th month....with both of my children.  I wore stretchy pants, or bought bigger sizes, which was particularly useful during postpartum.  It just means that you have some strong abdominal muscles that are holding things in for you, don't be concerned.  I know you can't wait to 'show', especially with the first one, but you will in time.....

I was about 7 1/2 mths before I really starting showing with #3.. with #1 and #2, I was showing by 20 wks. (I ate better this time :) - I only gained 15 lbs this pregnancy, and the baby was 8 lbs. 1 oz... I was back to prepreg weight in 2 wks.

I met a gal shopping at the maternity shop and pushing a carriage with two kids in it, and she was 5 months along again, and you could NOT have told by looking at her.  She said it was that way for her each time!  So it is really, really variable.

Are your very tall or do you have a long torso, this may be why. I am only 5'6" and I have hardley any torso, just waist and boobs! I had a friend who was built like me though and she hardly started showing until her very last month. She of course lost everything immediatley after the baby was born and went home in her jeans. Also, she never had a single stretch mark:)

So count your lucky starts if this is happening to you!

This is my first. I am 21 weeks and starting to show a little. I can wear some maternity things, but some stuff looks way to big. In a pregnancy book I read it said you grow ~1/2" a week after 20 weeks.
