Hi I am having exactly the same problem. I have had four home tests done, all came back negative. I have even done a blood test, most say that I have stress, which has never interfered with my normal cycle, and to say the least I am not stressed at all, havent been for like 4/5 months now. Some say I have urinary tract infection, but I've had that before as well, and also didnt interfere with my regular cycle, they also say I might have vaginal infection, but thats not it, coz I have had that before, due to my ex boyfriend sleeping around habits. Some also say it could kidney problems, but then I shouldve felt sick by now. Some also say that I have some sort of growth on my ovaries, but with that comes pain on the ovary with nausia and vomiting which I dont have. I have had spotting for 2 days when I was supposed to start with my cycle Dec 28 2016, and 2 weeks after brown discharge with abdominal pain but still no period. About a week and a half ago the same thing happened but yet still no period. According to the dr that I spoke to the blood tests cannot reveal whether I am pregnant or not. I am kinda confused coz I have never been 2 months late, the most was at least about 4 or 5 days late but NEVER more than that.

It really makes my blood boil when I see people on these forums who insist and state it as fact that it is impossible to get a negative blood test result and  be pregnant. I do know that this was a long time ago, but never the less... it makes me mad, because my SIL who I am very close to has a 3 year old son who never once showed up on a urine or blood test. She missed her period, took several HPTs (all negative) missed her 2nd period, took a quantitative blood test at he doctor's (negative) and was dismissed. Had another blood test after missing her 3rd period. 4th, 5th, 6th (by this time she was obviously pregnant, and finally convinced the doctor to give her an ultrasound, which showed my nephew). I am now experiencing the same thing. Don't tell someone "you are not pregnant"- you are not God, and you don't know your head from your own *** much less what is going on in someone else's body!!! Don't say "didn't happen" Were you there??? no?? then STFU!

Hmmm here's my deal.  I had symptoms of PCOS and had uterine polyps which were removed - def. was my issue.  Well I was on clomid b4 I went to the fertility speicalist who said the polyps were def. inhibiting the issue.  Hubby and I have been trying for 7+ yrs. so it was nice to finally hear what the issue was, b/c he's been tested 3 times and he's just fine.  Well I was always very regular after I first starting menustrating as a teen & into my 20's.  Then I had a lot of stress, horrible case of mono and weight fluxuation.  that's what caused my regularity to go off kilter - makes sense b/c the lining was not shedding that's how the polyps formed.  Anyways, I had a regular period in May before I had the procedure done 2  remove the polyps and then a regular period that also came on it's own in June.  well my fertility Dr. gave me a dose of Letrozole and I KNOW I ovulated just like I did on clomid - you can tell when you're ovulating - we did what we had to do those days they tell you.  well Day 37 rolled around and I started to spot brown and pink - thought I was getting my period.  Um well it went away after 2 days.  I have taken 2 pg urine tests and both have come back negative and still nothing - I'm feeling tired all the time, weird feelings in my abdomine, nautious from time to time out of the blue.  I think I'm going to take a blood test, but don't have insurance right now and am paying off 3 other medical bills related to the procedure while not being full time as a result of losing my job just recently.  What do you all think?

Doesnt always mean they tested early, my husbands ex was pregnant for 5 months before knowing, all tests throught thoes 5 months all came out negative, including the blood test from the doctor. then she had an ultrasound and it showed she was 5.5 months along. She had her daughter june 1st. and is now a year and a month old. =]

I took 2 test 3 weeks ago and one was the faintest postitive one was negative, i took 2 yesterday both negative and one this morning and it was negative, I still have not had a period, and am having symptoms of early pregnancy. I am goin thru the exact same thing!!! My period last period was April 23rd.. it only lasted 2 days long and very very light compared to ALL of my other periods.  It is now June 17th and still no period or any sign of it.  I pee every 5 minutes, nauseous, dizzy spells, tender breasts, tired,, stomach is hard I can no longer suck it in, I feel like I'm not eatin enough and I have been on a pancake frenzy crave for about 1 month now and I've gained weight.... I've taken multiple home tests from 2 weeks late till about a week ago and all have said negative. I did blood work 2 weeks ago and also negative.
With my son (now almost 2) I had a positive at home test at 2 weeks late.
I go Monday to see Gyno to find out what is goin on... some family say pregnant some family say thryoid probs.... any suggestions.???

I am in the same boat as you.  I had my last period around the same time as you and still no period.  1 neg hpt and 1 neg blood test, blood test was +2.  DR. says it has to be 5 or higher.   I have 2 kids so I am fully aware of how I feel. Boobs are sore the hole month of Jan. heartburn, tired, nosebleeds, just to name a few.  I say I am with baby but Dr. says no.  So now I wait.  I try not to think about it but we all know how that goes.  As anyone been down this road and later come to find out that you were right and the Dr. was wrong??

i dont mean to be rude or anything but maybe you can start your own question and post instead of putting your question in somone elses question post. that way not only you get more answers involving your question, but the person youre putting your comment on only gets answers about her question.

hi,

I am married, 30 and have a 9 yr old son. God knows my hubby and I want another child. I had my last period on Dec. 22nd to 27th, to this date i have seen it. I took 2 HPT and both came out negative. Now, i was on birth control for about 2 years, got off almost 3 years ago and have been trying to get pregnant. I went through some months of bleeding excessively after i got off the pills, visited my GYN, i had several tests done to make sure that nothing was wrong with me and thanks God it wasn't. They said that i was ok to have another child. from September of last year my period has be coming 28 days apart. It's driving crazy that these tests are negative, i knew i was pregnant with my son about 5 weeks after my missed period. I feel nauesous most of the time, i urinate ever so often, feel tired all the time, and sometimes have difficulty sleeping at nights. I really don't know what's going on with me. Could someone give some advise.

Thanks

If you read fungirls post closely, you will see that the "friend" tested negative, then 3 months later went to the doctor and had an ultrasound and lo and behold...was 3 MONTHS pregnant. This means she was either not pregnant or very, very early when she was getting all the negative tests. I'll quote:

------------------------------------------------------
"With her last son,she got negative results on the HPT and on the bood test from the doctor. He kept telling her there was no way she was pregnant because it would show up on the blood test. This went on for about 3 months. Finally, she insisted on getting an ultrasound done (eventhough she had just gotten a negative result the day before). The doctor agreed to have this done, and she was indeed 3 months pregnant."
------------------------------------------------------

If you are this late, a test would be accurate if you are indeed pregnant, unless it happened in the very recent last few days.  I hear the stories of "I know a girl who never tested positive" all the time.  If you dissect the story, you usually find they tested too early in the first place.  Or that the story was embellished or lost something in the telling.

Its the same with "an epidural paralyzed this girl I know".  I can't tell you how many times I hear that one. Sure it CAN happen, but it is extremely rare.  It simply can't happen as often as it is reported to have happened to the friend of a friend.

And I don't believe for a second the "friend" got a negative result the day before the ultrasound.  I think that's a detail that perhaps got a bit...exaggerated in the telling and retelling of the story.  Especially since she makes a point of saying just a week or so after the ultrasound, the test was positive.  Didn't happen.

i am 26 and married too. i had the same problem two or three months ago. i too had a bunch of pregnancy tests done. blood tests and hpts it all came back negative then i started having abdonminal pain so i went to ER and they did a ultrasound and found out that i have a cyst in my right ovary. when you have a cyst, unusuall periods is normal. ask your doctor about it and tell her you want an ultrasound done. i had never missed my period that long before that.

Not at all.  We all have functional ovarian cysts every month.  Usually, they absorb into the body and you never know you have one.  Other times, they do not absorb, and they begin to grow which can cause lower abdominal pain, backache, constipation, gas, etc.  If you think this is what is going on, your gyn can order a transvaginal ultrasound to check things out.  The sonagram will also tell you if you are pregnant.  DO NOT FEAR, you CAN become pregnant.  Kasie

There is a possibility that you are indeed pregnant. A woman I work with has 3 sons. Every time she was pregnant, she got negative results on the HPT. With her last son,she got negative results on the HPT and on the bood test from the doctor. He kept telling her there was no way she was pregnant because it would show up on the blood test. This went on for about 3 months. Finally, she insisted on getting an ultrasound done (eventhough she had just gotten a negative result the day before). The doctor agreed to have this done, and she was indeed 3 months pregnant. Finally at about 3.5 months it showed up on the blood test. She delivered a very healthy baby boy 6 months later. The doctor could not tell her why she kept getting negative results, but as he told her, "You know your body best!" The funny thing is, now she is pregnant again and she took a HPT today and it came back postiive. She is about 4 weeks pregnant (she thinks this means it is a girl. LOL). Not sure if this has helped, but maybe you could request a ultrasound. It could be that you have an ovairan cyst or just hormonal inbalance. Please let us know what you find out. Kasie
