3 Missed BC Pills in 1st week of pack

I missed 3 pills in the 1st week of my pack of BC (tri-sprintec) and had unprotected sex during that time, I know how to finish the pack and take the rest of the pills, but I am wondering what my chances of becoming pregnant are?

How long have you been taking BC pills?  Is this your first month?

You slimed down the chance of the birth control working to a hairline.
It's possible that you can or cannot be pregnant. You'll just have to wait and see until your next period.
You should go down and get Plan B if intercourse was in the last 72 hours.
... Just throw that pack out and wait until you start your period, or if you missed your period and go from there.
Good luck

I'm sorry but I really have to say this. Why are you on the pill when you will not take it like you are sopposed too? And on top of that having un-protected sex, its like you are trying to get pregnant.... This sounds very imature to be doing if your gonna be this careless you need to get onto the shot. The depo shot is once every three months. I think that if your serious about not having a child then that is your option, if not whats the point in taking if your gonna have un-protected sex when not taking the pills right. You only asking for problems. Sorry to sound so rude but that just makes me very mad when I hear people asking things like that when that is just common sense.

While I totally agree that BC pills need to be taken daily... I can see how, if this is your first time taking them, you could forget sometimes... until you get in the habit of taking them... especially if you are not used to taking pills every day.

I also agree that if that seems to be the problem the patch or the shot would be much better methods, for you.

I was in almost the same situation earlier this month where I started my pack of bcp's two days late, but that was because I wasn't able to get my prescription refill back on time. So that could have been along the lines of her situation, but who knows. Hopefully you aren't pregnant, but you'll just have to  wait till AF arrives (or doesn't). If you do get your AF, like the above posters recommend: get on the shot, Nuvaring, patch..something that'll be easier to remember. That's what I'm going to look into as well. Anyway, best of luck to you...hope AF comes soon!
