4 days late and a negative pregnancy test
My period is 4 days late I took a pregnancy test yesterday is negative but still no period I feel a lot of cramping comes and goes and the only symptom I have is I'm tired,hot and blooted. I don't know what to think if I should try another pregnancy test. I had been having my cramping 3 days before my due date on my period. Please some advise. When I got pregnant the first time I tested my self 6 or 7 days after my late period. Pleas I need help.
i am 18 and sexually active, my boyfriend and i have protective sex and sometimes unprotected sex, usually my menstrual cycle is 21 days (so short!) but ALWAYS on time, it has been 4 days since my due date for my period and I'm very stressed about it, I took a accurate at home pregnancy test yesterday and it came out negative, any advice ,please reply
I feel you and understand. I too am 4 days late with bfn. I ran out of hpt so I used a opk and it was +. I am so confused.. I just remarried myself. I have 3 children from my first marriage but my new hubby has none. we have been trying for 2 yrs now with 4 losses. the last one lost at 3 months. anyway that's my story. I just wanted to share with you. there is no shame in what you did at the time you felt that it was the right thing to do and so did I with my first husband. hang in there and have hope.. I will never give up and I have found a good doc that is working with me.. baby bust to you
Hi I am four days late and have gotten three or four false pregnancy test. We are trying to conceive an have been four about seven months now. I have been told to wait at least five to seven days after your missed period to test. My breast are very tender to the touch I feel bloated and am having cramping like symptoms. I have never missed or been late on any of my periods.

Hello ladies im 28 and I'm 3-4 days late, anyway I have a normal 28 day period but this month I'm late I'm not ttc but if I am I would be extremely happy!!! I have no children do this would be a blessing. I took a rite aid brand HPT an it came back negative, I have been tired, nauseous w/ foods tht I eat, and a lil breast soreness not alot sum mild back cramps. I hope tht I am and if not I guess I'll wait until I'm blessed to be
Hello ladies. I am 20 & I'm ttc! Well I was pregnant at 18, & I took a pregnancy test 4 days before my missed period & it came back positive. I got an abortion a few days later. Well now my period is 4 days late. I have light cramps, headahces on one side of my head, back pains, dizziness, urinating a lot sore nipples, but two negative $1 Dollar Tree Pregnancy test! Should I trust these test and if so why has my period not came. Plz help.
When I was younger i had 3 abortions. My best friend was 4 days late, took a home test & it came back negative. She took another test at 7 days... Which also came back negative. Then a third test at 2 weeks - negative again. When she finally managed to get a Dr appointment, she found out she was 5 weeks pregnant. I suggest blood tests in an office - much more reliable, as all women are not the same.

Hey I'm four days late on my period and I took 2 hpt and all negative.I have cramps on and off. For the last two days my underwear has been wet. I'm going to the bathroom more often. Is there any chance I might be pregnant thanks
Hi ladies, I am going threw the same thing .. I'm 21 an have a daughter 2 1/2 i have been pregnant 3 times. every time i have missed my cycle i have shown pregnant on my first HPT test . My husband an i use no protection other than the pill method ...we r very ACTIVE ...I had my so called last periods in November 2010 , as i say last PERIOD"S i mean last month in november i started spotting on the 13th very light an unusual for me it lasted 3 days an only noticed when i went to the restroom when i would wipe ... then 4 days after the spotting i had a light period an then 3 days long ,,, i have been waiting to start for the past 4days an still nothing ..so my husband an i decided to test but weirdly came back negative.... for 3 weeks i have slept way more than usual ,an i feel full all the time, i have cramping off and on ,, and light headaches , also i have a wite cream discharge witch i never have.. only when i was pregnant b4. my breast feel full an my bra is fitting more tight than usual ,also lower back pain !! is there ne way possible that i could in fact still b pregnant with all of this going on ???? PLZ help i feel like im worrying my self to death thank u heather
Hi Ladies, this is my first time on one of these things, but I also can relate to many of you. I am usually very much on time with my cycle, however, my partner and I had un-protected sex about three weeks ago and I was suppose to get my period four days ago, I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative, but now I am worried as I have been feeling very nauseas for the past two weeks and have been getting headaches and very tired also. I have had a couple of days where I thought my period was coming as I was getting back pains like I do when I have my period, I have also had like a water discharge, almost like I have wet myself a bit. Any advice? It could be that it is getting later as I have been stressing how long it's been, as I would like to be pregnant, but the home test said negative.
My advise to you is get a "First Response" pregnancy test as it detects a pregnancy up to 5 days before your missed period. It'll be sensitive enough to pick anything up this early.
Stress can also delay your period. Try doing light excersises as that may help it to start (walking, swimming etc.) Don't worry about it as that causes more stress and can make it worse. I freaked out one time when I was late...I have a very "on the clock" period and when I was a few days late I automatically thought something was wrong, and it started a few days afterwards. Hey there, Im going through the SAME thing. I have 3 daughters and 4 pregnancies total. My first baby the APT said no and i went to a planned parent hood and i was 4 weeks along, with my oldest the first APT said no but i was 4 weeks along, my second baby the first APT said yes and with my third we were trying to concieve and i went to a planned parenthood before my missed period and i was 4 weeks along. Since then my husband and i got divorced Ive been with my boyfriend for almost two years, and now im 4 days late. this never happens, my periods generally shift on occassion like last year they were at the end of the month and carried through to the beggining of the month and since then now they come on the 26th of every month if not sooner. but my periods shift sooner and are hardly ever EVER late. Ive take my 4th APT it was a digital one but it still said no, granted ive taken these tests in the middle of the day. I called my dr and she said to make an apt for a blood test next week if I still have no started. I dont feel like im going to start at all, and the only symptoms i have is im constantly going pee and im overly flushed and ive been having sudden headaches just two in the last two days and i feel icky when i eat... im in perfectly good health though just had my yearly physical and everything was great. i dont know but maybe just wait a few more days, and then get a blood test from your dr. it is more reliable it can detect even the smallest amount of the HCG levels in your blood. I told my boyfriend last night and he kinda got excited as he has no children of his own. Im getting nervous too, because we are going to Oregon this weekend for a mini vacation while my daughters are at their dads house. good luck lady!!!
Started my menses Jan. 7th, 2010- Feb. 10th, & I was to start again March 13th, but nothing. Btw, I am regular. Im a few days late & 2 NEGATIVE pg test =~( We started trying last month & we were intimate Feb. 21st & Feb.24th around my fertile peak. I just don't know anymore. Could you all please post any advice you may have I would love to read it.

hi, i have been pregnant 3 times. for the first two i just like you had missed period for a few days . did 2 home pregnancy tests and both were negative.
if i were you i'd wait atleast a week and then have a BLOOD TEST as it is far more
reliable than those home tests.

I am four days late and 37. My husband and I have been trying to get PG for almost 8 months now. I am on 100mg of Clomid. I have no systems of starting my period or even being PG. I have done test after test with my doc in the past few months. She tells me I am no where near mentapause. I am coming out of a cold. I have been on cold meds and wondering if that has something to do with me being late. I did not realize I was late until 2 days pasr. However, I have had a cold in the past and I was not late then. I read that I should wait a few more days and then test again. Any ideas???

Hi ladies Thank you for your help I got AF today, I guess when you get a negative result on your pregnancy test thats what it means NOT PREGNANT, but I went online to see if it was normal and then I read some woman have take the test the 1st time is negative and the 2nd time is possitive well I thought that could happen to me. But NO anyways my husband was hoping I was even do we are not trying for our 2nd baby yet it probably will be by the end of this year Thanks you for your help ladies and good luck.
Not realy true when i got pregnant with my daughter i took 6 pg test and got a negative first. Then i got a faint line as + on the next but when i went to the clinic they told me i was not pg. Of course you know how i felt at that moment. Called and made a appt. then found out i was 12 weeks along.I got my period the month before very light. Know i face the same thing as this young lady. I'm 4 day's late tired, sore boos, nausea, dizzyness,my stomach even feels a bit hard. I get mild cramping come and goes but the pt test came back negative. We can never be to sure with those test i guess.
well, even after 4 days of being late, if you are indeed pregnant, it should show on an HPT. this negative result would lead me to believe that you are not and there is some other reason that your period is late. are you trying to get pregnant or are you afraid you are? sometimes, that make all the difference.
