8 DAYS LATE

My cycle usually lasts 28-31 days. I'm on the 39th day of this cycle and no symptoms of my period. This will be my first pwriod since moving from a dorm with 3 other girls to an apartment with 2 guys. I also started a new job and have been kind of stressed and not eat in much (I also dropped about 7-9 lbs). I took a pregnancy test and it scamw back negative. Could these other things be messing with my cycle?

Well on the 48th day of my cycle my period finally decided to start so it must have been the stress and whatnot.

Stress can totally alter your cycle and it seems as if you have been going through many stressful situations these days. Moving and a new job are highly stressful events...see a doctor. Iron tablets usually help me.

Hi there. welcome to the forum.  Well, definitely, big changes like a new housing situation and new job AND weight loss (triple whammy!) can cause a period to be delayed.  I would guess that your longer than usual cycle is a result of these things.  Your period should show soon hon.  good luck
