A lump or bump on my bikini line

I have this bump right on the edge of my bikini line. I am pretty sure its an ingrown hair but it doesn't seem like a pimple or anything. Its been there for months and has not popped or anything.

Its been there for months, I can't even remember it not being there.

Its about the size of a half dollar and a bit darker in color than my skin.

Should I go to the gyno and check it out?

Or is there something to do? I'm a bit nervous about it.

I have the same problem heres my story:
I am 14 years old, not sexually active in any way. On my inner thigh right on my bikini line i have a hard lump that is about as big as the width of two fingers. They are not pimples because they are under the skin. It is not red or *****, just hard and the same colour as the rest of my skin in that area. It doesnt neccessarily hurt when pressure is applied, only if i try to move and push it. I have heard that people have surgery for cysts where they make an injection and then pack it with gauze which i heard hurts really, really bad. But the thing is that I don't think it is a cyst because I have had a cycst before (formally known as Hydradenitis Supprativa) which eventally went away, and I know one when I see it and I dont think this is one. I am nervous also and I don't want to tell my mom and DEFINATELY can't go to a gyno which i have never been to as i am a kid. I, personally, would really, really apprechiate it if you went to the gyno and gave feedback because the doctor knows exactly what it is since he sees this everyday. I have researched this everynight for hours each night for the past few months and find similar stories but can't find the name of it. If you go to the doctor please reply with feedback i would so much apprechiate it. Thanks so much god bless ♥
