A reoccuring yeast infection

I had a yeast infection after taking antibotics. I bought som OTC monistat 1 day and it cleared up.
About 4 days ago, 2 weeks after I doctored the yeast infection it has returned. It seems worse this
this time. I've never had a yeast infection before these times. I'm 39 and I have a IUD. I've had it for a
year and a half. 5 days ago, Me and my husband had sex for about 5 hours... I know that's unreal
but true. The next day I get up sore in the vagina area and think it's from all the sex but It feels just
like the yeast infection I had 2 weeks prior. I'm wondering if he gave it to me? Maybe we are passing it
to one another? I have no idea. I was thinking it was from all the sex? I guess I should go to the
Doctor and probably will. I am treating it again with the 3 day but it doesn't seem to be helping this time.
I'm on my last 3 day medication and theres little change. What do you think it could be?
It's been a year and a half since I had a papsmear but I've had one every year and it's always been normal.
I don't have diabeties and As far as I know, I'm healthy.

Go see the doc, and ask also while there if your husband should be checked.
