A tad bit afraid

by morgantyesha, Oct 29, 2009 07:57AM
I wen to the doctor yesterday due to me thinking that I had a seriously bad yeast infection. Prior to the doctor I had the discharge, itching and burning. I treated myself with over the counter monistat (which burned me bad by the way) the monistat cleared up the discharge but I still had some burning, so I got the 150mg of diflucan and took that as well. So it helped a little more but there was still some irratation. I asked a DR. online who told me that it seemed as those it might just be the monistat that did that I should just take an epsom salt bath. I finished all treatment on tuesday. My fiancee and I hadn't had sex for two weeks because I wanted to make sure the yeast was gone. So anyway I had shaved on this last past saturday, and Im not sure that I cut my self but when I went to the doctor I showed her that on my left side there is a sore part on my labia. She then in return told me have I taken a Herpes test before and what were my results. I informed her that I have and was negative, so she took a culture of it anyway. I am really scared because I dont know  what to think. I have been with my fiancee for going on 3 years now. There is no blister there, she said it's just red. I do feel slight discomfort but nothing as told online. I have no little bumps either. I wanted to see for my self and when I examined it i was like a reddish piece of skin slighty raised, which only raised due to me constantly touching it, because of my curiosity................Please any input would be most helpful
