sorry i cant seem to take it out but i posted on the wrong page
Hi Everyone. I am 22 years old and for a long time i had always have menstrual problem but i live in buffalo ny where its the highest teenage pregnancy rate that when i go to the doctors with my problems all they do is test me for stds and of course negative. Anyways now i'm concerned because for the past 3 months i've been bleeding everyday. I bleed brown for 2 months everyday then heavy red for 1 week stopped bleeding compeletly for 4 days and now bleeding very heavy for 11 days now. I'm in a lot of pain and have no energy. Can anyone relate or give me any advice or tell me what i can possibly have?
Heavy bleeding is part of getting older for some of us. I had the same symptoms and they just got worse and worse. I stayed anemic 1/2 the time. The flow was out of control. My doctor said it was perimenopause. Whatever. She put me on Yasmin birth control births (not that I'm in that phase of life-44 years old) and wham...easy periods. Check with your doctor. I went 5 years of living in the toilet the first 2 days of my period. I could have saved big $ on tampons if I'd gone earlier!
Hi It sure don't sound right to me.In my opinion it sounds like fibriod tumors.I had them,I had a hysterectomy when I was 37.I am now 58.I had the problem you are having, except I waited until it was all most to late.I had to recieve 2 pints of blood. You Don't need to wait any longer, time is the issue now.You need to go on and get doctored.Raven33
