Abnormal pap after total hysterectomy for endometrial cancer.
I had spotting after a total for endometrial cancer in the early stages. I continued to have slight bleeding and went for followups. No one found anything. I did not have to have radiation or chemo. No cancer was found in my lymph glands. My hysterectomy was in August and since then I had 2 good pap smears and then in Feb I had an abnormal pap smear. Since surgety I had 2 pelvic sonograms, 4 vaginal exams, 3 pap smears and I finally got an abnormal smear. I went to a specialist who took a biopsy. He said he believed the cancer had spread. I am awaiting the results. I also had a CAT scan. What the heck is going on?
