Acne after a tubal ligation

I had a tubal 5 years ago after the birth of my 2nd child. I nursed for a year, and ever since weening from nursing, I have been having problems with acne on my face and sometimes my back. It comes and goes, but I am thinking it must be hormonal?

Could be - you should go to a dermatologist. I had acne due to high free testosterone and they gave me Yazmin (now called Yaz I think) with drospironone and it cleared it up. Too bad I can't tolerate birth control long term! I had to stop because I was spotting or bleeding every day of the month, but that is a very unusual experience.
