After Surgery
I had surgery at the end of August to remove three uterine polyps.  Since then I've had daily smelly, gassy, bloody discharge from my vagina and anus. What is this and what type of doctor do I see for it?

Hello,
It can be a rectovaginal fistula. It is an abnormal passageway that occurs between vagina and anus and can be a complication of surgery. Get it checked from your operating surgeon to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
