I was on the Depo shot in 2004, I only had 2 shots. One in May and the other in August.  Then in November of 04 I went on BCP's.  The Depo shot usually remains in your system 12-24 months (it is different with everyone and some get pregnant while on the shot or soon after they stop).  In August 2005 my husband and I decided to TTC.  But I had unregualar periods.  I took Provera in Dec 05 and Jan 06 and now am almost 13 weeks pregnant.  But once stopping BCP's the hormones leave your body and you should be able to conceive.  But since youve been on Depo there is no telling if the hormones from that are out of your system.  Try BBT charting, and if you are havind a period then most likely you are ovulating.  BBT charting helps to determing when you O and when you should BD. Typically you should BD a couple day before you O and then every other day until after you O.  A normal, healthy couple usually takes a year to conceive.
Best of Luck!

You can get pregnant right away when you stop the pill.  The depo shot is another thing, I've heard bad stories about women not being able to conceive right away even after a long period of time of being off of it.  I was on bcp for a little over 10 years, stopped, and got pregnant within 2 months of ttc.  So, it is very easy to do, but the shot is another thing.
