I had a tubal in february of 2002 and I still get harsh periods once in a while. I had a daughter and a son and decided it was time. I don't regret that I did it because I started to get use to the periods and PAIN and it seems to be easier as I learn to deal.. A couple tips on dealing with the cramps: No caffien that makes them way worse, don't rely on pain meds they are so addicting and soooooooooo temporary, it seems like the cramps are worse when the meds ware off. I have family that are opiot addicts so I was very carefl not to use them, but on the DL smoking a little green helps so much don't make a habit of it but really no joke one toke no cramps and finally a good nights sleep!!!!!
I am a healthy 37 year old female. I had to have an abotion in September, and had a tubaligation in November. I had a light period the first week of January. Since then, I have had a lot of cramping and pms symptoms. I feel like I am going to start my period, and then never do. Is it stress, thyroid problems, hormonal imbalance, or all of the above. I feel bloated a lot and don't know what to do. Please help me with some professional medical advice. Thanks for your time.
i had my tubes burn i would like another child what would i need to do.
Thank you for your help. My body has being going wacky since the getting the surgery but I have talked to my doctor and feel much better. I now know it is gonna take a few months to get better. Thanks again.
My periods also became longer and harsher after my tubal. I wish someone would have told me that would happen. I probably wouldn't have changed my mind (had two miscarriages and was DONE) but being informed feels better than being shocked with this whole new cycle that I have. Good luck!
You are not alone! I had a tubal ligation 6 years ago. My
period took awhile to be normal again. I noticed more pain
and heavier periods. I found out the pain was caused by ovarian
cysts. Maybe you're having a harsher period because you had
a D & C. Your best bet is to talk to your OB/GYN and tell him/her your symptoms.
