Am I pregnant?

Hi all, I have a question for you that has been racking my nerves for quite a while now. I am 20, and just to be clear, we do not want a pregnancy. A little more than a month ago I was supposed to get my period but missed it.  My boyfriend and I have sex about once or twice every week, and do not use a condom, but he pulls out.  The last time we had sex was on about day 14.  It was the same usual thing, he pulled out and didnt use a condom, and I am on the birth control pill.  I have taken it every day, never missed one, maybe a few were a couple hours off though.  So as you know, I didnt get my period when I was supposed to.  But I had been having signs of getting it like moody, cramps, feeling bloated etc.  And VERY severe anxiety.  So maybe a week after missing it, I took an expensive home test and it came out negative.  So I figured I would wait until my next period to see what is going on.  We have only had sex once during this month, and it was very early on,  and I am still on the pill.    Well, now comes the time when I am supposed to have my period and I am on day 3 of supposed to have it and still nothing.  I stopped taking the pill like usual, and I am feeling the same usual symptoms of having my period such as cramps, moody, feeling bloated etc.  And I still have very severe anxiety.  I have not been feeling anything abnormal in between periods, just the same as it has always been.  Just when it comes time for my period I feel period symptoms, but get no blood.  Please help!  This is killing me and we really do not want a pregnancy!

I would take another test and see what it says, and then if it is negative, I would definately schedule and appointment with the doctor. Missing 2 periods is not normal, it could be something else, maybe an infection, stress, really anything. But if you are not pregnant, for sure call the doctor. Maybe he just needs to switch birth controls for you

You do know that all it takes to get pregnant is a tiny drop? I am always nervous when I have sex also. try another test and then go to a doctor is all I can say.

It is possible that the pill you are on gives you too high a hormone dose.  Go see your doc about a different prescription, and while you are there ask for a blood-based pregnancy test.
