Am I pregnant?

Okay here's the issue..........My boyfriend and i have been having unprotected sex without birth control and this month i did not come on my period. i was suppose to come on March 6 and i never did. Nor have i had any signs of coming on. i took a pregnancy test ( First Response) yeaterday and they came up negative. BUT I STILL HAVEN'T HAD MY PERIOD!!!!! What could be going on. Could it be to early to detect hcg in my urine or could it be something else??????HELP!!!!!!

Ok, first things first, if your stressing about this, then the likely hood is your period wont arrive, ive been there so i know it can do that. It can be normal for periods to be late, are yours always ontime?? Or do they vary each month. How long ago did the unprotected deed happen or start??? You do normally need to leave it at least 2-3 weeks to detect pregnancy so if its less than that then you need to leave it a bit longer. If not then the result should be accurate. If however your concerned then you can go get your bloods done as they detect pregnancy much earlier on than urine tests do. HGC adds up every 48 hours, in early pregnancy it doesnt always detect it but like i said after 2-3 weeks it should. Make sure when you test your not drinking gallons in order to do the test as it may dilute the urine and cause a false result. Also make sure its a natural pee your taking, and also try to take the test with the first urination of the day. Hope i could be of some help to you. Hope it all works out for you xxx

It sounds like you are pregnant maybie you should go to the doctors and ask them to confirm if you are or not, the same thing happend to my frined she was actually pregnant but it didnt show up until she missed the second month. If you want to be then its looking good.
