Yes, it is true that antibiotics neutralize the effects of birth control. It's too bad the doctor didn't remind you to use a back-up birth control method while taking the med.
As far as your chances of pg, it's very hard to say. Yes, there is a chance, but as far as percentages - who knows. My recommendation is stop using the patch until you find out about pg. You should be able to take any hpt about 3 weeks after the last time you had unprotected sex. Talk to your doctor for specific recommendations.
Remember - at the very least, you should not take wear the patch until you find out if you're pg! Good luck!
I did call my doctor yesterday, she didnt seem too concerned about the matter. She told me to make sure to use backup protection next time. For whatever reason I'm still pretty worried over the situation. Should I call her again to discuss it further or just try to dismiss it like she seemed to.
