Anterior Placed Placenta Previa

by sunkisst, Jun 17, 2007 12:00AM
I am 27 weeks pregnant with my fourth child.  All my other children were delivered normally.  I've been told, with this baby that I have an anterior placed placenta previa.  My last ultrasound showed that the placenta had stretched and seemed to be moving away from my cervix.  At any rate, my question is, if they have to a C.S., how dangerous is it to go through the placenta?  Also, I've read that an anterior placed placenta is 30% larger than a posterior placed placenta.  Is this true?
