Antibiotics and Seasonalle type birth control pills

by FarmerKelly, Jan 10, 2009 11:24PM
I know that antibiotics can reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills, but I'm not sure how that should apply when you're taking a birth control pill for 3 months at time without a period (like the brand Seasonalle).  When I was on a normal pill schedule, if I had to take an antibiotic, I would always wait to start my next pack of pills before stopping other forms of contreception.  Now that I have 8 more weeks left in this cycle of pills, do I need to wait for the entire cyle to be over or is it okay now that I've stopped taking the antibiotic?

I stopped the antibiotic 3 weeks ago.

Anyone know? I don't want to be pregnant right now!
