I agree that the pill injectoin isnt very safe as its only 96% protection and it takes a long time to get bak to regular cycle if or when your ready for a family! im not sure about having cysts or ovarian cancer but theres always a risk and everyone is different xx

Also, I'm going to forewarn you, some women experience scar tissue because of the devices, so definitely ask about that too.

Okay, so when I was 16, my grandma had be put on the depo shot. Please, whatever you do, do not do the same. Many women report systs and ovarian cancer because of this method. These symptoms increase with longer time periods receiving the shot. It is given every three months, either in the arm or bottom. Do your research, and ask your doctor about all the effects, positive and negative. I was receiving the shots for two years, and got taken off at 18. I have been off for 2 years and am now about to turn 21. I haven't returned to my normal cycle, and am having trouble conceiving. All your doctor about a y shaped device placed into your uterus.. I don't remember the name for it, and honestly there are probably many different types of devices like this. Make sure you ask your doctor about reversability, if you ever plan to have kids in the future. Know your options before you make a decision. All birth control have side effects, know the best choice for you.  Be careful, and good luck.
