BLoody Show?

Does anyone know about the "bloody show"?  I am 38 weeks pregnant and I have been discharging mucus for about a week and a half but for the past two days I have had vaginal spotting.  I have been discharging mucus and spotting seperately.  I am not sure if the mucus plug should be bloody when it starts to come out or if you can have spotting seperately.  Anybody experienced the "bloody show" before or know anything about it?

Also how long does it last?  Do you just spot until the baby comes?  Could she be coming soon?
