BROWN SPOTTING FOR 5 DAYS PLEASE HELP ME

I'm a 5'2 94 pound 19 year old female. i lost about 6 pounds in 2 weeks or so. on the 21st of june i had sex with my bf. i got my period on the 8th of july (1 day before it was due but i also traveled and that may affect the date) my period was normal for 3 days then extremely light then normal again for 2 days. on the 21st/22nd of july a brownish spotting began sometimes light pink when i wipe and sometimes has red stringy bits in the discharge. i lost the weight between the 10th and 22nd. i eat about 400-700 calories a day. could i be pregnant or is the spotting because of a hormonal imbalance? ive only had sex 4 times in my life i dont use birth control or condom just the pull out method.

It is possible to have periods even while pregnant.  I did for the first trimester.  I wouldn't say it is something common, but it is possible.

I wouldn't recommend using periods to determine if you are or aren't pregnant.......a pregnancy test well, but not a period.

Consult the university Gyn Specialist and get this sorted.

As I stated in my previous post your weight could be affecting your periods as well.

Not yet, my parents don't know I'm sexually active so I honestly have no idea what to do exactly. I'll try visiting the university gynecologist. How can I be pregnant if I had a normal period on the 8th?

There is a possibility of pregnancy, however, what is also concerning is the number of calories you are consuming in a day and your weight.  Being underweight can affect periods.  You are definitely not eating enough and I am not sure why you are eating so few calories.  Fat % affects estrogen levels.

I would recommend waiting until the next period is due, which will be the beginning of August and go from there.

Also recommend using condoms in the future.  At this point I would recommend you refrain from sex until you sort this out.

So, I would say the spotting can be related to pregnancy or a hormone imbalance secondary to you being underweight.

Have you consulted a physician about this at all?
