Hi guys,

I hope everybody is doing well on this day.

i am in my 28 th week of pregnancy. Today i had a scan as per my doctor's advice. This is my second one.

My baby is doing good . Tech told the weight of the baby at this point is 2 pounds and 12 ounces.

i just want to ask u guys is this the normal weight for 28 weeks or lower or  higher. till 10 more weeks to go for my delivery. my baby weight has to increase 3 more pounds. is it possible?

I'm not sure how much the baby should weigh right now, but your baby will have absolutely no problem gaining 3 more pounds.  In the end they pack on 1 lb every 2 weeks.

The avereage weight for a baby at 28 weeks is 2.2 - 2.5 pounds.  Your baby is a little big if anything.  The last trimester is where all of the weight comes.  Your baby could put on another 6 pounds in during the next 10 weeks.  Hard to imagine isn't it?
