Bv is something i am all too familliar with. A quick and easy way to get rid of it is fo stop using scented soaps and lay off of carbonated drinks high in sugar...i e. sodas. When u urinate the sugar comes out and can build up inside the vaginal area which causes bv and yeast infections. Taking flagyl does not effect ur ovulation cycle. After taking the 3 times a day for 7 days medicine u will develpe a yeast infection because the flagyl is designed to kill all the bacteria but doesnt recognize that your vagina NEEDS some of the bactetia.. Known as "good bacteria"

Not sure but antibiotics changes the flora, so having yoghurt whilst on antibiotics and after stops a recurrence of baterias straight after. It is also so suggested to take milk thistle at the same time as complimentary medicine.  Ask the doctor.  Most women after and during flagyl get yeast infections. They also say don't take it in the 1st trimester of pregnancy. Hope it helps.. Good luck!
