Bacterial vaginosis

Tags: Metrogel Vaginal

Hi. I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and prescribed Flagyl oral tablets and Metrogel vaginal. Am I supposed to take both of these medicines at the same time? I found out that they are the same thing just in different forms?
