Bartholin cysts or worse???

I think that I may have developed a Bartholin cyst on the right side of my lower major labia of my vagina. At first, it was painless and only showed it's presence due to the asymmetric look. After using hot compresses, taking hot showers and baths, it seems to have grown larger. Not only has it grown larger but it seems to be developing white lesions where I constantly rub. Currently, it is unbearable to the touch and very painful. It isn't red and is the same color as my skin. It does not itch, but it is very tender to the touch, stings and now is starting to burn as things rub over it or when I urinate. I am scheduled to see a doctor Monday, but I fear I won't make it through the weekend!!! Can someone tell me whether I diagnosed myself correctly or not? Or maybe it is not a Bartholin cyst at all... which I've never had before in my life?? Please help!! I'm freaking out!! This has been persisting for almost a week!

If it's a bartholins cyst it's not going to be better till its lanced and drained. Best thing would be to see your doc on Monday like you said. Hope you feel better soon!

What's the difference between a boil and a cyst?

U may want to put a cold compress instead of hot, it'll give some comfort. It may just be a boil and the doc will have to lance it.
