Been on my Period for a month

I use to be on birth control but I want to get pregnant and im not wanting to chance it by taking birth control. Ive been off birth control for a year and just recently ive been on my period for almost a month and im afraid I will never be able to get pregnant beacuse of this. I would love to know what is going on about 4 years ago I had to have an oviran cyst removed and a little over a year ago I had my galblader removed.

That's definitely not normal and you could be losing a lot of blood. Go to your doctor as soon as possible.

As a side note, I had a friend who was having trouble getting pregnant due to irregular periods. She started taking birth control to regulate her cycle. With the pill, you have 3 weeks of birth control and 1 week of "placebo" pills. During that week, you can get pregnant. Talk to your doctor. It might be worth a shot.

The best thing you can do is talk to your physician and ask many questions. Know what your chances are. Having a period for a month does not sound normal and its something that you should definitely have checked out

Hope this helped & good luck!!
