Best HPT

by isa_1985, Mar 31, 2007 12:00AM
I'm still stressing over thise whole ordeal of me being pregnant or not, so I hope y'all don't mind asking me this. What, in your opinion, is the best HPT out there? The first one I used was "First Response" (I got confused and I put E.P.T. as my tests on my second post). They both read negative and what I've read on consumer reports that First Response is at the top of list. Today, just to get it out of my head and worry-free, I bought a different brand - ClearBlu HPT (digital read). I haven't taken it yet (first thing in the morning I will) and on that same site it said it was decent, but there have been reports of confusion, and sometimes false answers. I'm just curious if anybody has had any problems with these brands or if any one could offer another brand name of an HPT (cheap or expensive) they trust. I really appreciate it!

i prefer the clear blue digital test. but some people say that the dollar store pregnancy tests work too if you wait two weeks after you miss your period to test. thats the best time to knwo for sure.

I went ahead and tried the ClearBlu this morning (in fact just a few minutes ago) and the result read *Not Pregnant*. I did the procedure (cup collection, then 20 second rule). I alwasy find that easier, 'cause I'm afraid there won't be enough urine just with regular flow. That's 3 neg. with 2 different brands. I've seen those on the internet, but I don't really have means to buy (credit card or anything). Thanks, though. Hopefully somewhere out there can shed some light on this.

I swear by the dollar tree tests and so do all of my girlfriends. They work best!!

OMG. I took when of the pregnancy test from "Dollar Tree" once and it worked for me! lol. This was like... 6 months ago when I had a slight scare with the pill, and it seemed that the test worked, because it came out negative, and I didn't have any symptoms! The only thing about it here is that we don't have a dollar tree around and the closest one is about an hour away (that's what happens when you live in a small town).

I was 9 DPO when I used the dollar tree test. It was positive-even in the afternoon. They're great!
