Bilateral ovarian cysts?

Can someone explain exactly what bilateral ovarian cysts are and what kind of cyst they would most likely be, if any in particular?

Yea, the scan said bilateral ovarian cysts, but the dr. hasn't gone into detail yet or specifiedas to what kind they are...she just said she needs to compare some things and I'm going back in less than 2 weeks and will hopefully get some answers!!

In my comment above what I mean is both ovary's have cysts. I was trying to find the answer today for my bilateral cyst problem, and that is the answer I came up with.
