Birth Control Help

Hi, and thanks. Any help would be appreciated. Ive been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for 18 months now, and have has no problems. This last pill pack, I missed two pills while I was away for vacation. I followed the instructions for making them up, and used a back up method for 2 weeks, even thought the instruction said I only needed to for one week. I was extra careful, and Im a paronoid person, hence the question. My period always starts on Friday morning, and here it is Friday night and nothing. I have 4 children, and have had 3 other pregnancies (last one twins) so Im aware of pregnancy symptoms, and Ive had none. Does anyone know if this late period could be due to the missed pills? Could missing them make it late? So worried!

Thanks, Andrea.

Yes, it could definitely be because of your missed pills.  Any time I have ever missed pills my period has been either early or late.

Yes missing pills could cause you to be late.  If you havent started in the next few days I would suggest a HPT.

Yes it could make your period late, becuase your body is used to getting this little dose of hormones everyday and when it doesn't it kinda has alittle with-drawal and messes with your system, so that could be the reason why its late. and get a HPT it just to ease your worrying
