not to go against anyone, I do agree you 'should' follow the directions, but I dont always...I have started in the middle of a period before, becuase it will stop your period faster then waiting it out....but Im no doctor, I just know it was no problem for me.
I was on Depo Provera for 6 months (2 shots)and in November 04 when I was due for my third shot I decided against taking it so my OB/GYN put me on B/C pills. Since I was getting married in December he told me to go ahead and start them right away and they would not affect me in any way. The end of December I had AF and was regularRegular insulin up until August when I decided to stop taking B/C pills. But I think you should be fine to go ahead and start taking them instead of waiting to sunday after AF.
